This shaver was an upgrade from a lessor expensive one. It does seem to cut better and closer. Its comfortable to hold with either hand. I have been using it every day and haven't had to charge it now for a week. Of course, it only takes at the most about 3 minutes to shave. If I needed a closer shave, I would use my regular razor with crme and would have to wait for the hot water to reach the other end of the house from where the heater is located. Takes a lot longer that way, and wasting water. I hope this one lasts as long as my previous one. Glad that I purchased it.

Not as robust in the cleaning department, tho--instead of a single frame that holds in all three cutting assemblies, and installs with a twist of a center knob, this has three individual mickey mouse plastic holders so thin I need tweezers to install them. Which I've had to do twice when they fell out while I cleaned the shaver, and which lock in with moderate difficulty.

Saver gives a nice close shave without irritating my skin. I haven't tried wet shaving yet so I can't comment on that feature. The only issue I had with it was my finger kept shutting off the on/off button during shaving. Maybe the button should have been placed in a different place on the shaver. Otherwise it's very nice.
A good product but inconvenient to switch to trimmer...as the shaver head has to be pulled out then the trimmer installed in its place. Also can not operate while unit is plugged in. Only operates in battery /charged mode..
I purchased this shaver for around forty bucks. This, after looking for replacement blades for my years old Norelco. The replacement blades were just a few dollars less than this shaver. My older shaver needed to be recharged at an ever increasing rate. Now, for about the same price, a new, modern featured shaver with a new, more comfortable shaving experience. This was a good buy, well worth the few dollars more that replacing heads on an older razor.
I use it for shaving my face and head. Very easy and quick. I do it daily with no razor burns. Washing out the innards seems like it would hurt the mechanism, but apparently it wont. The heads dip to follow curves.
This is a capable mid-range shaver, delivering a close, smooth and comfortable shave. it can be used wet or dry, is easy to clean and the charge lasts a long time. I'm an electric shaver and have used Braun and Panasonic. I also have a couple of older model Norelco razors. This represents an evolution in design while providing Norelco quality. This a good daily shaver and I'm quite satisfied with its performance.
The cutting heads are further apart. There is more movement in the heads so as to improve contact to the contours of the face but if you are concentrating on getting that stubborn stub that just won't be cut, you have to work a bit harder than the shavers with more rigidity. Just feels a bit big on my face. Maybe I will get used to it. All that being said, I have a life long Norelco guy. I have bought at least 5 different models of the lift & cut shavers and am never going back to blades. This was a great deal.
technically, we have not tried this one yet....as it was purchased as a Christmas present, but we HAVE owned Norelco electric razors for decades now and have always liked them!!
