Philips Australia Norelco OneBlade Face + Body Hybrid Electric Trimmer and Shaver, QP2630/70

Exceeded expectations! A perfect smooth shave that doesn't cause pain, redness, irritation or hair pulling. I purchased this for my husband and he loves it. The compact, sleek design allows you to create clean lines and edges. The dual sided blade lets you shave wet or dry and is water resistant so that you can shave in the shower! It comes with 3 different attachable stubble combs (1, 3 5mm) which make getting an even shave/trim achievable. The battery is long lasting and can be charged using a USB cable that's provided and plugs into any 120V AC power outlet. Cons: None! We have owned this now for over a year and it is still working as good as the day it was purchased. Purchased this from Walmart.

Another Great Product from Philips!

Philips OneBlade 360 QP2834/20 is an all rounder product. This Philips multigroomer is made for both trimming and shaving any length of hair. The wet and dry use blades seems to lasts for around 4 months. I am using the product for less than a month and I dont have any complain about the blades yet. I can share a more detailed review on the blades after using it for a longer period. About the battery, the Philips 360 QP2834/20 has Li-ion battery which lasted for around an hour with full charge during my initial test phase. So Philips claim is true. Also this products comes with a 2 years world wide warranty which I think is great. Overall I think this is a great product from Philips and I recommend everyone to try this product.

Better version of a basic trimmer.

I have been considering to buy this product as a replacement for my previous beard and hair trimmer for some time, and now I got the chance to test this via the Philips product test program.The machine itself is good, very good. Light, fits well in hand and although it's 'just' hard plastic, it doesn't feel cheap at all. It's waterproof so perfect to use in the shower. (although the blade didn't really catch on to wet armpit hair which was close to the skin, I reckon it works well on the beard)The package includes usefull blade covers, which gives you a good option of trimming your beard and other hair. (see attached picture of my beard length for reference of the longest setting)I have quite a coarse and hard beard, which this machine had some trouble with. I had to repeat the trimming process a couple of times for perfect result. I would like to see a blade which is made for coarser beards.(e.g. resemble a barber's trimmer more, bigger spacing between the teeth). If that would be available, I would give this product 4/5. The last point lost for the joint between machine and blade being a bit flimsy (which is also possible to be a unit specific issue..)I do like the straight head, since it gives new options of making edges in comparison to traditional Philips beard trimmers/shavers. Pouch is good!!BTW; this product would work for women as a shaver as well.

Good, but maybe not better than last model?

This is the second OneBlade I have owned. As a stand alone, this is a good trimmer, especially for shorter length trimming. I like most of the new design, especially that the handle is slimmer with a better grip. However when compared to the last model, it falls short in allowable max trimming length and ease of adjustment. The reason is due to the rotating blade head. This new feature is not bad to have, though with the narrow blade, I've never felt the need for it. The rotation doesnt allow for a cap like the previous model, which had a simple dial to adjust length, all the way up to 9. This blade has an attachment which you need to rotate with your thumb. Honest review of one blade 360

The handset feels comfortable to hold.Easy to assemble.I had a week's growth and I shape a goatee so was eager to see how it would cope.Took a few strokes to get the feel to start removing hair.After a number of strokes it started th removed the hair well.Got most of the hair removed from both sides of my goatee beard, probably not as close as I would have liked but a reasonable shave when I started to shape my goatee it struggled to shape as sharp as a standard razor, but did do the basics.The trimmer adaptor works fantastic really happy with the trimmer really even and easy to use.Overall, I would say it does the job but probably does not get as close as I would like personally.But handy to have in the gym bag or for travelling with. 8 out of 10 for me

It’s ok for keeping your beard in check but…

So it’s nice that it can be used both in and out of the shower. The problem for me is that I had hoped to use this for manscaping because I have long fine arm hair. The comb attachments just push the hair down below the blade so it doesn’t get cut. The only way I could tame the herd was to use the comb attachment and keep running it over my arms for several minutes. This took way too long and was not efficient use of time. It works as a good edger for sideburns and cuts well when using on your face without the skin guards. Used this way I have yet to cut myself. If I had a beard then this is probably a great product but for keeping a clean shaven face I can do that quicker with a regular safety razor or electric razor. I’ve used this for about a month and went back to my regular razor which I use daily in the shower. After 20 minutes on both arms I may try to continue to use the blade for body hair trimming but I think there may be a better option somewhere else. More than likely this will end up in my travel bag so I don’t have to deal with liquids in my luggage.

Just what I’ve been looking for.

I’m really liking this trimmer/shaver, it just what I’ve been looking for…(my wife really likes it too). I like having a short beard and have been using large hair clippers, but they’re a hassle and doesn’t do around my nose well. The OneBlade is fantastic, it’s quick and easy to use, cuts nicely, even with the hair length attachment it cuts right under my nose, and it’s waterproof so easy to clean. The attachments are very easy to clip on and off. It took me a little to get used to it when I first used it, my beard was really long and I needed to go slowly, but now I can maintain it very easily and quickly. As a shaver, it cuts nice and close, and the head pivots to keep good contact with your skin. For body body hair including down below, this is a very good option, the special skin guard protects very well, this is a real game changer.It’s battery lasts well, for shave your face it’s probably good for at least a week before needing a charge. It feels well made, very comfortable in hand and good nonslip material, so perfect for use with wet hands.

Here are the couple of things I like about this product :1. OneBlade 360 rotation feature helped me to be precise on the edges like jawline, under the chin and cheeks.2. Blade is very sharp so I didn't had to use razor after I did the trimming which saved efforts and time for me.3. Cleaning this blade is easy and quick, Waterproof feature is really helpful here.4. I am really impressed with the combination of this blade with combs came with the package, I didn't had to trim twice or thrice as there was no uneven hairs left behind after single trim. Perfect for sensitive skin and not just for men.

I love my Phillips Norelco. The razor is good quality. All the shavers on the market for women have the worst quality- rough and nicking- are not long-lasting and feel like doll accessories. If they are good quality, they lose it fast and I have to throw them away after 5 uses, even those made by Phillips. I’m not dainty. I have hair and a lot of it. Not like males, but enough that I can’t get away with it. Most women remove their facial hair, but the usual methods are painful and no good for me. Laser worsens facial hair. Waxing pulls at the skin’s elasticity. It and beauty razors give me rashes and hives and nick my skin. I had to hide indoors all day. The Phillips Noreclo doesn’t do that. After years of struggling to keep the crown jewels in ceremonial order the answer to our dreams has arrived.The guards make for reasonably carefree topiary work keeping the whirring blades of death clear of any loose chicken skin and provide a sense of safety and confidence that, I for one, have never experienced before.
