Brilliant smart looking toothbrush
I really enjoyed using this toothbrush. It looks really smart and I loved the dark blue colour I got and the matching case. It's bigger than my manual toothbrush but not by much. It feels light to hold and the toothbrush head is a great size and shape. I felt like it was doing a great job of cleaning my whole mouth including back teeth and right down to the gum line. The vibrating definitely felt like it would be improving my brushing and it was very quiet which I was pleasantly surprised by. The battery is still going strong and should last for 3 months of brushing twice a day which is brilliant! My mouth felt clean and fresh after the two minutes were up, and it definitely felt cleaner than using my manual toothbrush. The final thing I loved is that it turns of automatically after 2 minutes. I plan to get one for my kids as they have always struggled to brush for 2 minutes so this way they can just brush and when it turns off they're done. Brilliantly simple and should improve their brushing too. I really do recommend this toothbrush. It is a great step up from a manual.... Show more

Definitely could use some more colors choices!
I would have to say that this is the perfect beginner toothbrush for children, teens & adults alike. My Phillips One taught me how to brush more effectively & allows my to reach my wisdom teeth. The sensor that stops vibration if you press too hard makes this brush perfect for manual users as well. I've been brushing my teeth for 30+ years & even I learned how to brush better with this toothbrush. My dentist said I could be brushing too rough (among other criticisms of course). Three months later, she complimented my efforts after using my Phillips One. You would think the harder you brush the better, but no. It would be nice to have multiple types of brush heads to choose from, but the simplicity of this toothbrush makes bringing it along to work/school an easily formed habit. The twist off piece that allows you to replace the batteries is a bit tough to remove without some sort of tool or nail file. The ability to subscribe to free delivery for replacement heads saves time. The case is wonderful at keeping my bristles protected, but also makes taking it anywhere most convenient. Parents that I know have expressed total satisfaction with this travel toothbrush because of the 2 minute SmarTimer & gentle vibrations. Having a One has made keeping up with oral health so much easier for me. I have noticed that I brush my teeth more since I got mine. From the sleek case, SmarTimer & easily replaced brush head to the pressure sensor & comfortable design, the Phillips One is truly a household must.Although this toothbrush was made with maintaining dental health away from home in mind, I feel many would benefit from keeping multiple (different colors) at home. The affordable pricing was what finally got me to transition from manual brushing to the battery operated Phillips One from Sonicare. I intend on getting the rechargeable One next so I can keep one in every room as well as my purse.Aside from my pleas for more colors, my only other request is for a reusable brush head that perhaps we can wash in the dishwasher. I know there might not be as much profit in it, but it would create less waste and you could charge more for it if you must.... Show more

Didnt clean as well as other electric brushes
Purchased because I wanted the sleek look and charging case, but it did not perform to my expectation at all. I am used to using the typical electric toothbrushes with the round rotating head. When I tried this toothbrush I could immediately tell my teeth were not as clean. This toothbrush barely vibrates and does not rotate bristles at all. If you are upgrading from a non electric toothbrush, this might be okay for you. However, once you’ve been used to electric toothbrushes with rotating heads/bristles, you’ll notice this toothbrush is no where near as powerful. Honestly, I felt like a could use an old school non electric toothbrush and do a way better job myself.... Show more

Fantastic little pulser!
This is a fantastic little product that wowed me from the moment I opened it. The packaging was extremely sleek and environmentally friendly (no unnecessary plastics mostly cardboard) with a striking midnight blue design complete with gold Philips branding. Although the brush head was a little smaller than I’m used to, it suited my mouth better. As a result, I was able to reach those hard-to-reach places a lot easier and twinned with the brushes micro vibrations and contoured bristles, left my teeth feeling cleaner than usual. Another feature I liked was the brushing guidance, as let’s admit it we all lose track of time while brushing. However, the Philips One gives you a little buzz every 30 seconds to remind you to move onto the next segment of your mouth as well ... However, the Philips One gives you a little buzz every 30 seconds to remind you to move onto the next segment of your mouth as well as a longer pulse after 2 minutes to tell you the recommended brushing time is up. The brush also comes with a travel case which is VERY handy as it keeps the brush clean and free from the nasties that may lurk in your wash bag. Finally, the battery lasts up to 90 days which means more brushing those pearly whites and less time digging around that draw for a AAA battery. Overall, I personally think this is a really great product with an eye-catching design and some canny little features that will enhance your brushing experience for the better.... Show more

Great idea but poor execution
I agree with another reviewer that if you’ve used Sonicare brushes before then stay away. I am a lifelong user of Philips Sonicare toothbrushes as both of my parents are dental hygienists. This one is the weakest electric toothbrush I have ever used of any brand. I like the idea of it being battery operated. If you travel you don’t have to worry about charging your brush. It is also physically appealing and it has a nice case. But it’s way too weak to be an every day electric toothbrush. I did not feel like it cleaned my teeth at all honestly compared to my typical Sonicare brush which makes me feel as if I’ve left the dentist. Literally any other Sonicare toothbrush is way better.... Show more

Great Toothbrush
I have used Sonicare toothbrushes at a few different points in my life. As a single man, the giant handled one worked fine. As a married man, switching out the heads between my wife and I was a pain, but doable. Now, with a family of 4, switching parts is not gonna happen! The smaller, slightly less powerful Sonicare is just what we needed. Everybody gets their own and they save alot of space compared to the docks of the full size ones. Plenty of colors available, so no mixups.Battery life has been great and my teeth feel super clean. I will recommend this toothbrush to all my friends.... Show more

Great Toothbrush For a Great Price
This toothbrush is the perfect electric toothbrush for a great price. I did not want to spend upwards of $100 on an electric toothbrush just to appease my dentist. I looked into quip but the recent reviews were all over the place. Philips is a solid brand and this toothbrush shows it. It's researchable and the charge lasts a long time. I have had it for almost 2 months and really like the sleek design that doesnt take up any counter space. I travel a lot and this is perfect to take with you and have the cleanest teeth. A con for extra teeth cleaners out there is that the bursh head only vibrates. It doesnt move or twist so it's just an enhanced manual toothbrush. If you want to up your teeth cleaning game and not brake the bank than this is your toothbrush...and it ... MoreThis toothbrush is the perfect electric toothbrush for a great price. High hopes dashed by low battery life
I was so excited about this toothbrush. It was so simple and easy, and the long lasting charge seemed good for travel. However, the battery life of the toothbrush began to decline rapidly. I got it in August, and it never lasted a full month as the description said, but it still lasted a couple of weeks without needing to be recharged and it didn’t bother me too much. Sadly, by January it died every week, and now (May) it dies every 3-4 days. This is hugely hugely disappointing. The toothbrush itself was weak and gets weaker as the charge goes down, so that means it really only works well for the first day after charging overnight now because by day three it’s dead. Overall, I liked this toothbrush for about a month, and now I’m just really disappointed in it. I ... MoreI was so excited about this toothbrush. Insane Battery Life
Overall this toothbrush has been excellent. I bought it to replace an older sonicare brush, which while it still works, is super annoying to charge with the old style charging station. This being USB-C and fairly inexpensive I bought it to use until I could buy a newer big boy model later and use this for travel. I've still been using this and it's been great. I received the toothbrush in November and it's now July. I have not had to charge the toothbrush once despite brushing twice a day. This has earned it the nickname 'the Hanukkah toothbrush' in our house. It seems slightly less powerful than the normal sonicare models but the simplicity of it makes it a winner for me.... Show more

Pleasantly surprised
I was looking to replace my old Sonicare toothbrush and wanted something more affordable and compact. With the first use, I was surprised at how light and slim the brush was - it almost feels like I'm brush with a regular, plastic toothbrush at first. Once I gave it a chance though, the vibrations do provide an effective clean. I find myself putting in a bit more motion than I would with other electric toothbrushes, but I don't really mind. The bristles seem as if they'll be too small/soft, but they actually clean effectively and gently; I think the average brush head is actually too harsh on our gums. There was an issue with my case, but with great customer service I am being sent a replacement. I like the idea of keeping the brush head covered, but it would also ... I like the idea of keeping the brush head covered, but it would also be nice if this brush could stand up on its own. I never use the other features in the more expensive electric models, so if you're looking for a simple, sleek electric brush, this is just that. Lastly, I appreciate that the brush stops completely after 2 minutes.... Show more
