If you are looking for an electric razor with a safe blade that can get in for a really close shave - without a comb on top creating too much distance - without any danger of nicking your skin, and particularly if you have sensitive skin, then look no further. What I liked most is how one charge lasts forever it seems and also the ease of using it in the shower(yes it's fine) where it is easy to soften facial hair and avoid the mess in the sink. Also shaving in different directions was so easy because both sides of the shaver can cut hair.Other products on the market that I have tried were either not recommended for use in the shower or they were overly expensive and did half of what this little guy can do. Also, even though it's not recommended I did use this for some basic manscaping with complete ease.I do not think I would change anything about this product as it was beyond impressive. Even the packaging was simple and didn't require a hacksaw to open. I think Philips listened to the feedback of their consumers and got this right...and aren't charging an arm and leg for it. I get a little worried over time at the cost of the replacement blades for the OneBlade Pro, only because I am not used to buying electric shaver blade replacements. Since I use it only every other day I assume the blades should go pretty far with this product.Where this shined for me is the ability to trim my neck hair and around my ears very cleanly. I get afraid to use my normal razor blade on my neck and it does not allow me to raise the line of my neck hair higher as this usually is done by my barber. This is great for home use to allow me to do this without visiting and paying my barber. And the fact that I can choose my hair length on the nozzle allows me to even taper my hair in some places to get a home trim. However, I did find that my fat fingers would sometimes slide the nozzle out of the length I had it set on and my hair would be accidentally cut at two different lengths while trimming.Overall, the OneBlade Pro fits great in the hand and works very efficiently for my shaving ritual. The battery lasted a lot longer than I expected and I do not worry about it running out of juice while I am giving myself a thorough trim on the face and hairlines. I have found that I prefer the OneBlade Pro to give clean lines and get to areas that I cannot reach, but it has not become my default razor yet because I still get a better and cleaner overall shave from my normal razor. I would definitely suggest it for anyone that wants a quality electric shaver, I am just more acclimated to a wet shave.

I used to use 2 different electric razors and a manual razor to do what this one device can do. Unfortunately, the "edging" feature on the sides of the razor weren't as effective as I was hoping. I was really excited for that feature, to neatly trim the lines around my beard, particularly on my neck and cheeks. But the edge of the razor doesn't cut very well, and the lines weren't clean and flush. There was still little hairs and stubble left.Overall, I think this is a great product and can do several things that you may have needed different razors for before. It's well built, and can be easily rinsed to clean. A full charge also lasts a while, I haven't had to charge it since receiving it and it's been a few weeks. I would recommend it!

Also, instead have having to switch out and haul around a handful of different head, all I need is one head now and just have to turn a dial to change the length.Holding the trimmer in your hand you can tell it’s solidly made. It has that weight to it that tells you it’s packed with power and made from quality materials yet it isn’t so heavy that it’s awkward to move around your face.Some things I would change: The coloring is sort of blah to me. I get that it’s the company/brand coloring, but I would have preferred just solid black. The green is a bit too much personally. Also, I wish there was some way to collect the trimmings. If you were trimming a long beard down to stubble I would bet that it’s would be so bad and the hair would just fall straight down for the most part because of the weight and clumpiness, but trimming stubble to slightly shorter stubble ends up sending tiny hair shavings all over the place and I had to squint my eyes at time to avoid getting hair in them. If you shave a little slower it gets better, but still makes quite the mess over the bathroom counter. I understand that it can be used in the shower and that would probably help solve this problem, but I’m not going to be getting in the shower every time I want to do a little trimming.Overall I think this is a fantastic product and would definitely buy one for myself or as a gift for someone in the future. In both cases, trimming was very slow, and I had to go over the same spot many times which still left stray long hairs and patches! Also, because of the design of the guard, it`s difficult to understand what orientation you`re supposed to use. It also doesn`t allow for curves very well, which makes for long patches around the jawline.In general, my current shaver does a much better, quicker job even though I need to switch guard sizes and heads sometimes. This, combined with the fact that you need to buy an expensive new head about every 4 months, means that I will not continue using the Philips One Blade Pro.
For body hair:It gave me terribly many painful nicks and cuts. If you have flat lying hairs when they're short then it can be basically impossible to get them cut as it just glides over them. If you try to shave against the grain it causes painful nicks.Also, the heads will need frequent replacements especially if you have thicker hair. You'll keep worried whether it's time to replace the shaving head sooner in hopes of reducing the horrible nicks.I wouldn't recommend this product at all. Very regrettable.

At this time my beard was about 1cm, so quite long for just a razor to handle.The instructions say go against the grain when shaving but I shave all directions to get a clean even shave as I'm sure others do, after a few stroke's down my down my sideburn it was gone, I didn't have to go up and down multiple times to get close to the skin, the same under the chin and nose, In just a few minutes with no effort, no water, no foam or gel, no cuts, no razor burn and no little bits of tissue stuck to my face after.I had the shave I wanted at last. This was fast, easy, effortless and painless shaving and I can clear out the bathroom cabinet and dispose of all the wet only razor's and blade's, finally get some space back. I still have to try a wet shave with the One Blade but after the result's of the dry shave I'm not sure I need to.The price of the One Blade varies depending on model, the basic kit is a reasonable price for the quality of shave and with one blade lasting around four month's with normal use the need for replacement blades are reduced, as with all replacement blades the cost is high but the one blade lasts longer unlike other replacement blades so is better value over a period of time.But after using the One Blade and having a close shave without the soreness after I wish this was available 33 years ago when I first started shaving, I would have saved a fortune in experimenting with the masses of other razors and blades, not to mention the pain. Finally a razor that does what it says it does. Well done Philips.

To my initial impression, the concept is a sort of hybrid between an electric razor and traditional beard trimmer. You can pretty quickly tell a nice amount of detail went into the design. The razor aspect work very well and didn`t irritate my skin like other electric razors I`ve used in the past. I even shaved my head with it after after first going over it first with a traditional trimmer and found it was a reasonable compromise over using a straight razor. I wouldn`t recommend using it alone though if you have a weeks worth of growth though because it pulled a little more than was comfortable.I found the adjustable trimming guard was a little cumbersome for my taste as opposed to using standard guards but given more time I could likely get used to it. This is definitely a nice option though for anyone who travels since you only need to bring one thing rather than a whole kit. The adjustable guard also has a lot of settings (more than I`ve counted) so you would have no problem finding the perfect length for your beard and such. I didn`t feel like trimming the lines of my beard and mustache (unguarded) worked as well as my current `standard` beard trimmer but I do plan to still play around with it some more in different ways.In conclusion, there was really nothing about this product I disliked and quite a few things I liked a lot. I wouldn`t claim this is the best electric razor or beard trimmer I`ve every used but it does both very admirably for a single package.
