I was curious to know if there was a suggested shelf-life so I read the instructions to see that the blades change color when it's time to replace - the blade I had been using for months had only started to change shade - was barely noticeable.So in summary, for it's ease of use, quality, comfort, effectiveness and long shelf life this is by far my favorite shaving system.

This product is great when it works. My first blades were fine, then I purchased a pack of replacement blades…totally different experience. The first one broke one of 4 hinges immediately. I thought I had accidentally mishandled it. I used it as best as I could but of course while taking the comb guide off the hinge on the opposite side broke. I made a point of being overly gentle with the second blade in the pack. 3 of 4 hinges broke almost immediately. Reading a 1 star review like this you’d wonder about the writer and if he’s just too dumb to use the product properly, but my voice is just one of many who experienced these expensive product failures. Surely Philips could make these better; I feel like they were de-contented to fail while they still had useful life ... MoreThis product is great when it works. In addition, if you are using a trimmer head as opposed to straight on the face, if there were any slight nicks on the blade you do not risk any chance of cutting your face since the blades are not actually touching you. Granted you would have a decreased quality of cut though.Overall, I think the blades are exactly what they are advertised as, replacement blades. I would not expect any more or less than what you are currently experiencing with the original blade that came with the OneBlade set.

I shave maybe once a week. Absolutely love the one blade. You don't need toxic shaving cream to get a close shave. I bought these for my nephews and brother in laws also. I like the original one blade though. The 360 one blade works the same, but I don't really see the advantage.
I already had in my possession the one blade but was not aware that the blade itself had been improved upon. I was happy to try the new blade and am so happy I did. I have a goatee beard which, when shaving, can be a little difficult to keep looking tidy, straight lines etc. Using the one blade with new blade has helped where other products do not. It is so easy to use, so smooth and trims brilliantly. Added to that, I am now also able to trim armpits and around my chest with ease, therefore keeping my body looking smarter and tidier as a result. No issues with possible cuts as other blades etc do happen to cause. Good product that is easy to use. My photos show the old type blade and new one
I love this shaver. It gives me a cleaner shave and closer shave than my other electric razor. It’s not like baby bum smooth but I like my little bit of stubble. Got to admit though it does go close enough to the point where you are supposed to have a shave. I love it and give it 5* I normally just use my electric other brand shaver and it leaves more stubble but this Philips one gets a much closer shave. Love how it just glides through the stubble.

The only negative I'd say is that I'm still not really sure that my blade needed to be replaced after a year of usage, but it's good to know that I have back-ups if the razor happens to break. If you like using the OneBlade, this replacement pack will keep it in its best condition and give you some additional blades in case anything happens to one. Very happy with all and would highly recommend.
I have been using the OneBlade since August 2016. I love this shaver compared to my previous bulkier Philips trimmer. I use it to trim my eyebrows on a 5 and maintain a stubble beard on a 1. Because you can easily change the blades when they blunt you can keep the cut sharp which makes it smoother and faster.Further to that, as this is a wet n dry shaver you can use it with shaving gel, foam or oils to reduce drag and get a better finish.Removing the guards means you can use the edge of the OneBlade to contour and tidy the edges. Also handy for doing that bit right under your nose!The main unit charges up quickly and once fully charged holds it for a while. I probably charge the battery up every two weeks or so.
