I personally found that the shaver was easy to hold especially when I have an issue with my grip.The claim of no redness due to the unique protective coating which lies between the shaver heads and your skin is quite genuine and as a sufferer of shaving redness under my chin, there was no redness with this shaver!In conclusion, the Philips Series 8000 S8697/35 Wet and Dry electric shaver has provided me with a genuine quality shaving experience and would therefore recommend this to anyone looking for the smooth cut feeling.

Now I haven’t tried to use it with wet skin as that is likely to leave your skin red after shaving, but other reviews of the 8000 S8692/35 Wet and Dry electric shaver have been positive. Overall, I have very pleased with this shaver, there is the option to purchase the cleaning pods for it, but I haven’t tried this yet, I’m sure they work well, I use to own an older model with a cleaning option, and I can only imagine it’s as good or better as I find Philips is a company that doesn’t go backwards. I would leave some photos, but other reviews have got plenty that would look the same as might. This is a great shaver, and I am sure you will be very happy with yours if you are going to purchase one.

I was sent this product as a product tester, and have used shavers from the big 3 shaver brands in recent years.This shaver is so frustrating! It does some things well, but fails miserably at others so you'll need a 2nd shaver to compensate.I suspect that it would be ok if you used it every day - apart from hard to reach areas like under the nose. Why can't I charge the shaver using the cleaning station as I can with other brands? Instead, Philips think that I want a cleaning station and a separate charging stand! Household (tabletop and bathroom space) are at a premium, and I don't want to take up this much simply to shave.You can buy better for around £100. At this price point it should be faultless, and it it isn't.

The charge cycle took no more than an hour the first time and its last for 15 shaves if you stick to the recommended shave times via the app which monitors also the cleaning pod and recommends where you can get replacement pods which I will be doing.the shaves comes with a 7 year battery and motor life which is also a bonus there are readily available parts and accessories from the Philips websiteall in all its actually a pleasure to use this shaver its a daily routine that was was a chore but I actually look forward to using the shaver nowso to sum up my review highly recommend the product for ease of use with the added hint of modern technology and would say its a must for anybody who uses an electric shaver
