This is my second Norelco electric shaver in about ten years. I have used an electric and blades over that period of time. More and more, I find myself using the new SensoTouch full time because of the quality of shave, being less messy than shaving using foams or cremes, and, with less skin irritation, and no razor burn nor mild abrasions.While a blade may result in a somewhat closer shave, I personally prefer the Norelco due to less skin irritation. A minor issue for me is the charging cradle as opposed to direct connection to the unit for a charge. I would be just as satisfied with the direct connection which can provide temporary use if the charge is consumed and also for me more options where I could place the unit for a charge.

The unit is easy to use and appears to work as advertised to clear food particles between teeth. Food particles that got trapped between the teeth that could not be removed with regular floss could easily be removed using the air floss. However, once in a while, the unit would make a grinding noise during use and we have no idea why. May be Philips can look into it.

After using the Air Floss for several weeks, it desn't seem to work as good as advertised. While it does inject air and water through the teeth and into the gums, I am not sure it is a effective as regular flossing. As a result, I will continue to floss as I have been, and will use the air flosser in addition to nightly flossing. I do have a dental appointment for cleaning in three weeks, and will check wih the hygenist if it has made any difference.

the product is excellent and works more effectivley than a regular water pik. I have lots of implants and bridges in my mouth and it helps to get the packed food out between the spaces. It is also very helpful for keeping my gums healthy. Great product. There was a defect in my air flosser but Phillips is already sending me a new one out. I enjoy using it
I purchased this product with great expectations but after using it for a while I think that it should be improved by making it more powerful. The device should shoot air or mouthwash with more force especially considering that if one does not aim the nozzle precisely in between two teeth the effect are useless
This air flosser works better than manual flossing. It is also so compact that it fits in the bathroom drawer. When I do keep it on the counter it takes up very little space. It holds a charge for over a week. It is simple to keep clean. I couldn't be without it.
After two weeks of facials by a mixture of water and mouthwash, and more than enough time polishing mirrors, I switched to plain air. I was immediately dedicated to the use of my flosser. I could examine the surfaces of my teeth, and was pleased to see the results of the air power. I hope to hear my hygienist's comments with reference to the effectiveness of the instrument in affecting the surfaces of my teeth just below the gumline, so that I know I am angling the tip of the flosser effectively. I wish I'd had this tool for the 25 yrs prior to the current time. I so enjoy knowing that my mouth is as clean as it can be now.
I use every day, which I did not do with flossing. Mouth feels very clean and pockets have gotten smaller. Sometimes I add mouthwash to the water resourvoir which leaves fresh feeling. No broken floss stuck between teeth.My dental hygienist recommended it.
The idea is good but it is ineffective for me. The air "puff" is just not strong enough to get food particles out that my toothbrush can't. I had to buy 2 at Costco because I couldn't find it anywhere else and now I have 2 that are not being used. Oh well.
I bought this item because we were planning to travel and I recently had 4 teeth implants. The packaging seems to imply that this product would address the problem of getting food out from under the implants. Also it seems to be a good size for travelling. I found that the device did not do a good job in cleaning around my implanted teeth. I use another water injecting device after using this item and more often than not, additional debri would come out from around my implants.It seems to do a good job around my normal teeth.The water/mouthwash capacity could be increased also, since I always have to refill in the middle of using the item.Based upon my experience, I would not recomment this for people with dental implants. Not quite there yet.
