This is one of the products I tried through company trials over the pandemic that made me realize I’m really passionate about product reviewing and helping people find products that match so I specifically dug up this product, having used it more than three years and absolutely loving it. Although the novelty of the easy to download app wears off once you figure out how to use it optimally, it’s a game changer in teaching you better oral health. It will tell you if you’re moving too fast, pressing too hard or not giving any of your teeth enough attention. It will keep record of these even when not watching as long as you make sure the app is linking. The app also has nice features like helping you schedule dental appointments and when to change the toothbrush heads. ... It will tell you if you’re moving too fast, pressing too hard or not giving any of your teeth enough attention. It will keep record of these even when not watching as long as you make sure the app is linking. The app also has nice features like helping you schedule dental appointments and when to change the toothbrush heads. It’s pretty streamlined in terms of the modes. There are four and each corresponds to one of the three heads you can purchase. I believe the main three are plaque control, whitening and deep clean with the fourth being a deep clean plus. The app will once again guide you through the difference durations and divisions of time for each. I personally came to prefer the plaque control heads. It’s worthwhile to note that you can manually flip through the modes for any head and it will remember what you had it on last. The easy lighting helps you see the battery life and mode. The clear base is super easy to clean. The charging part is protected by it and keeps it snug and hard to knock over but easy to remove. The cord has a securing strap to contain while traveling. The brush itself comes with a travel case that will store the brush and two extra heads and the case is high quality, feeling like buttery leather over sturdy hard plastic. It has the hinge mechanism that pulls itself closed but stays open when fully lifted, making it very difficult for it to be unintentionally opened. The only thing I didn’t find necessary was the glass rinse cup which I don’t use for that but still works great for storing the extra heads or other sink odds and ends. Back to the brush heads, they always come with fresh protective caps that snap on sturdily too. They each work for sensitive teeth (which mine very much were when starting) and are great for small mouths as well (another me-problem). If you have hard to reach molars, this will get them the brushing other toothbrushes couldn’t. And time tested, this is the winner of all. Every time I go to the dentist, I get told to keep doing what I’m doing. After years of being told my gums were loose and my teeth had enamel loss and buildup, I’m not getting those clean bills of health I never got as a kid. Wish this had been around 20 years ago so I could have avoided losing a few back molars. Trust me when I say healthy teeth are nothing to take for granted. Start using this brush now and until another dental breakthrough (likely from this amazing company) comes along to outdo it. I’ve tested for them more than once and they’re always on the pulse of perfecting dental health. Don’t skimp; get yourself a really great power toothbrush in this one and save yourself the future trouble!

My first use of the toothbrush felt like I’d been to the the hygienist, it cleans that well; whether this is the all in one head or the handle or the combination of both, I don’t know- but it cleans way better then my previous sonic brushes. It looks expensive and like a quality product, it feels lovely to use and has a great travel case. The app although a bit of a gimmick has some neat features like identifying areas you don’t clean as well or if you press to hard. This model has definitely impressed me it has so many features . I would definitely recommend this to everyone. Trust me you be disappointed. The results speak for themselves. The packaging is well thought out and looks to be mostly recycled materials. Not completely sure why Philips includes the actual glass for holding the toothbrush as it sits on the charger just fine and can be put in a drawer, case, etc. I’m not going to complain though as it works well for rinsing…and the toothbrush even reminds me to rinse, more on that later in the app section.Set Up:The battery was just about fully charged, but I set up the charging stand and charged to full as recommended by Philips while reading the included manual. I also downloaded the Sonicare app at this point. Connecting the toothbrush to the app was a snap and only took a few minutes to go from unboxing to brushing. There are 4 modes on the toothbrush and the 2 included cleaning heads will align with specific cleaning mode selected. Installing the A3 AIO is as simple as sliding it on to the toothbrush body, that’s it. There are also 3 selectable power levels that work across the selected cleaning mode. After a bit of fiddling, I opted for the low power setting and the deep clean+ mode.Operation:In order to take advantage of the smart features the Sonicare app must be running on your phone. Once the toothbrush is turned on, the 2:00 minute timer starts and the app begins to guide you through the cleaning process on the display. At first, I just thought it was a recommendation, but quickly realized that the smart sensors are sending feedback to the app showing the areas that are being brushed…mind blown! I found it a bit difficult to follow the guided brushing at first, but after 2-3 uses it started to become more natural. The app has coached me to provide an additional 30 seconds of cleaning based on my actual cleaning accuracy. Once complete, the app asks if you have rinsed, cleaned your tongue and flossed. My dentist has told me to floss more, and it’s great that the app reminds me of this after each brushing.Overall Impressions:This is the first powered toothbrush that I’ve ever owned, so it’s been a bit of a chore to make sure to use it at every cleaning. I still find myself grabbing my regular toothbrush at night to quickly brush before bed. This is my own habit to create, and honestly since the 9300 is so easy to use, I see it being my go-to for years to come. The overall quality of the body and smart brushes are top-notch and it’s well balanced and easy to operate. The power button and mode selectors are well-marked and easy to understand. Changing the cleaning brush is also very easy, just pop one off and slide the other head on. I found the lowest mode to be more than adequate for my usage, and really don’t know that I would ever use the highest power mode. Even on low, it’s easy to feel the difference in cleaning that takes place vs. a standard toothbrush. Philips’ advanced sonic sweeping motion combined with the advanced cleaning brush heads provides a cleaning that feels like I just got out of the dentist’s chair! My teeth have never felt cleaner, and this is after just a week’s worth of usage.Pros:- Easy to recharge Li-ion battery and charging stand fits bathroom décor- Carry case for keeping toothbrush organized or for travel is a nice touch- Build quality is top-notch and looks modern and stylish- Coverage guidance through Sonicare app is a game changer for me- Teeth and gums have never felt more healthy and clean!- Pressure sensor light and haptic alert – dentist says I press to firmlyCons:- Grasping a bit for a con, but the case could use a more secure closure mechanismOverall, the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9300 Smart Rechargeable Toothbrush has been a welcome addition to my oral care process. It’s easy to use, has several smart features to coach the user towards better cleaning and is stylish and well built. I would certainly recommend this system for anyone looking to up their oral care game!

If you feel like you could be doing a better job of keeping your teeth clean between dentist visits, then this might be what you are looking for. It also does a wonderful job of letting you if you are moving the brush around too much, or if you are applying to much pressure. You get two brush heads, and I have been using the all-in-one for general cleaning and gum care. Once the initial cleaning is done, it notifies you that you should go back and touch up areas you might have missed or not spent enough time in.Once you have finished the app keeps a history of all your cleanings and how efficient you are. Letting you know when you move too much, or perhaps were too quick and should have spent more time cleaning.Honestly, one of my favorite things is the way it charges when not in use. There is a wireless charger that a small glass sits on top. When you are done you can use the glass to rinse your mouth, but when you are finished and ready to charge, you place the glass on the wireless charger and the toothbrush goes into the glass. There is no need to plug anything in or match up wireless connectors. It just works when it is sitting in the glass. Such a convenient way to charge something, I wish they had something similar for my phone. If you want to make your dentist less painful, and make sure that you are staying on top of keeping your gums and teeth clean between visits, then this would be a great tool to add to your routine. The app integration, variety of toothbrush heads, and easy charging all make for an easy and maybe even fun way to stay on top of your dental health. An easy recommendation.
Prior to trying this toothbrush, I had never tried a high-end electric toothbrush before. I have only ever used manual toothbrushes and those battery-powered toothbrushes that are not that effective and break easily. With that being said, I was extremely excited to give this toothbrush a try as I have heard nothing but great things about its capabilities. First, I love how easy it is to store and charge this toothbrush. It comes with a nice glass container that also doubles as a charging port, so I just plug it in to the outlet by my sink and keep my toothbrush in there at all times to make sure it’s always charged. Next, the actual brushing feels superior to anything I’ve ever tried before. I did have to adjust to the feeling of an electric toothbrush as I have been using a manual one for such a long time, but once I did adjust, it feels great! My teeth and gums feel cleaner than ever. Moreover, connecting the toothbrush to the Sonic app is super easy and a really cool feature. I used the guided-brushing feature a few times, but I don’t really find it convenient for me to open the app every time I brush my teeth, especially when I’m rushing in the mornings. However, I do like that there’s different tips and tricks when it comes to dental hygiene on the app as it has helped me to learn how to properly use the toothbrush and it’s features. Overall, the ingenuity and quality of this toothbrush has made me a Phillips Sonicare customer for life!
After my previous Philips Sonicare toothbrush bit the dust after almost 6 years of service, I tried out a couple of other brands that had some fancy features and looks. However, after 6 months of trying, I got back to Philips again. This time I got my hands on the top of the line model, the DiamondClean 9300. And after using it for more than a week now, all I can say is there’s a reason Philips Sonicare are so popular. The DiamondClean 9300 is not cheap, and that’s because instead of being just another electric toothbrush, this is actually a “system”. I really liked the charging part - there’s the usual wireless charging puck that needs another “fitting” to accommodate the brush. A small plastic stand helps do that. However, in the box there’s a rinse glass that doubles as a brush holder and a charger, while still being able to be used for mouthwash.Along with the charging stuff, the package also includes a travel case that holds the brush body together with 2 brush heads. The case is slick, looks nice, but not the most hardy. Especially it opens up very easily even though it is held by magnets. Also it has no other functionality, unlike an expensive model that has charging capability.Coming back to the actual brush itself - 2 brush heads (A3 and C3) come with the kit, with a life of 3 months each. The A3 is the all-rounder here, while the C3 foregoes the gum care capability to deliver a cheaper option. Both heads worked as it should be, and cleaned my tooth with good precision without being too hard. The build-in pressure sensor, which has a visible indicator as well, helped make sure I was not trying too hard and making things worse. Also, being a smart toothbrush with Bluetooth connectivity, real time feedback can be had via the Sonicare app. The app itself is simple to use and quite helpful in keeping track of brushing routines, but the necessity of an account is cumbersome. There are 4 modes of operation: Clean, White+, Gum health, and Deep clean+. I typically use the Clean mode everyday, with occasional use of the Gum health mode. The Deep clean+ felt a bit too overpowering for my teeth, even though for every mode there are 3 levels of intensity to play around with. From my experience, for regular users, one or the other mode will definitely work.Overall, the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Smart 9300 seems to be a smart investment for those looking for a high-tech toothbrush to enhance their dental hygiene routine, with the caveat that it may be more costly than other options.
I have used several Sonicare toothbrushes over the years and have been very happy with all of the models I have used. Like the other models I have used, this toothbrush handles the most essential task of brushing your teeth really well. I love the brushing power you get from a Sonicare and it has helped keep my teeth clean and prevent cavities. Since using Sonicare, I would never go back to a traditional toothbrush.Along with brushing your teeth really well, this toothbrush has some added features and refinements that make it an excellent toothbrush! It comes with both a plastic stand and glass cup that it can be put in when you are done brushing. Both will charge the toothbrush. The glass cup is really nice because it should be easier to clean than the plastic charging stand, and it also looks more premium. As soon as I sit the toothbrush in the glass, the toothbrush beeps and starts charging. This toothbrush also comes with a travel case which feels premium and has two slots for toothbrush heads. It is great to have the travel case as it makes taking your brush on trips a breeze. This toothbrush has 4 cleaning modes and 3 brushing intensity settings. It also has the ability to communicate with the Philips Sonicare app, which provides feedback and tips on your brushing, as well as the ability to customize settings on the toothbrush.Overall, this toothbrush works really well and has a lot of nice features included. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a toothbrush that cleans well and offers a great experience!
Review forPhilips Sonicare DiamondClean Smart 9300 BlackI’ve been using Philips electric toothbrushes for over 15 years now, and my visits to the dentist have shown me how well they work. My hygienist *always* comments on how good my teeth look and how good my “self care” is. I haven’t had a cavity in all that time.Alas, nothing lasts forever, so when I had to replace my older Philips toothbrush, I chose the DiamondClean Smart 9300. It has all the features I’ve known and loved for years, plus some new ones. It comes with two different brush heads - a plaque fighting and whitening head and a premium brush that also aids in gum care. The toothbrush handle recognizes the type of brush you put on it and adjusts its motion accordingly.New for me is the brushing ... The app pointed out areas that I was neglecting because I use only my right hand to hold the toothbrush. When I switched hands as I switched sides in my mouth, I actually improved my technique.I’ve been told by my dentist to use a soft brush and not to press too hard when I brush. The DiamondClean 9300 helps with both. The brushes are all considered “soft” and the handle detects if you are using too much pressure by giving a little “buzz” feedback that you can feel and a light on the bottom of the handle that you can see. It’s easy to know when your you’re using too much force.Although the 9300 has a two year warranty, I’ve found they last considerably longer. Some years ago, I had one that failed within the warranty period, and I was very happy with the Customer Service at Philips. They were polite, professional, and immediately sent me a replacement via FedEx.
The Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Smart 9300 Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush is a high-quality electric toothbrush that is packed with features that have really improved my oral health. In the past, I used to rush through brushing in an attempt to just get it over with which is obviously not the best way to maintain healthy teeth and gums. I had a lot to work on the first few times I used this new toothbrush but over time, I have gotten more used to the proper way to brush and I feel like it has helped improve my oral health tremendously. I don’t know if it’s all just in my head but my teeth just seem to look and feel so much better than they did after brushing in the past with my old electric toothbrush. Either way, I know my teeth are well taken care of now.One of the other cool things I really like about this Philips Sonicare Smart 9300 toothbrush is the charging glass. It is very stylish and comes in handy for rinsing while also effortlessly charging the toothbrush. The travel case that comes in the package is also a very nice feature since it makes it easy to transport the toothbrush and brush heads when travelling.Overall, the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Smart 9300 Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush is great high-quality electric toothbrush and I highly recommend it!
This is simply a great toothbrush, improving on prior models by being easier to clean and charge, with a much nicer traveling case to boot. There’s a reason I keep using a Sonicare. They just do the best job cleaning teeth effectively and safely. More than rotary style options and certainly better than conventional toothbrushes. I’ve consistently used Sonicare toothbrushes for 20+ years and my near-perfect dental history proves just how good they are. This one is no different, at least in terms of effectiveness. The bristles really do clean deeper, almost flossing between teeth (though I do choose to floss as well.) The bristles really do clean deeper, almost flossing between teeth (though I do choose to floss as well.) What I like about this model is that it has an exterior without any recessed elements to collect grime. This was an issue on my last model, but this one cleans fully with a quick rinse.ModesLike many prior models, this has several levels of intensity and 4 modes (vibration patterns). I felt right at home and quickly landed on a setup that I liked. If you’re like me, you set and forget, with each brush head remembering your setting for the next time. It’s also probably the nicest looking toothbrush I’ve ever had too. The black color looks good anywhere, with a sleek design and soft touch finish. If applying too much pressure while brushing, lights will illuminate at the bottom of the handle. You’ll find that you’ll need to press fairly hard to get it to activate, but it’s good that it’s there for new users. I don’t find this much more useful than the small warning vibrations in my last model, but it’s good that it’s there. During proper use, you won’t encounter it much at all.Charging Glass.I wasn’t sure if I was interpreting this feature correctly when I first saw it. Charging glass? - Yep, it’s a glass with an induction charger underneath, and it’s great. Gone are the messy little corded-pucks that like to flip over on the counter, and in it’s place is a useful bathroom glass (for drinking water, etc) that doubles as the vessel to charge the brush handle in. It works as expected, with a thick glass that won’t easily be going anywhere. The cable running to the metallic base that goes under the glass is black, which I appreciated, as it goes well with our darker countertops and disappears. My only nit is that when it’s in the glass, it will also sit angled to the side. That doesn’t bother me much, but it feels a little less orderly than a toothbrush standing upright alongside other bathroom bottles and the like. Luckily, you really only have to charge your toothbrush once a week, so mine simply stays in the drawer most of the time.AppA novelty or gimmick for sure. I can see why it was included, but beyond teaching newbies how to use the brush effectively, it doesn’t offer much value. Practically speaking, most people won’t want to open an app every time they want to brush their teeth only to micro-manage every aspect of the experience and that’s exactly what this app is all about - telling you to brush each part of your teeth in a particular order, then reminding you to rinse, floss, etc… Philips also claims to be able to identify where you’ve been focusing your brushing and what areas need work (presumably using internal accelerometer based on a lot of assumptions) I found the app never interpreted it right, telling me to focus on areas that got just as much attention as others. But why would you want this level of nagging anyway? Instead, I imagine most people will simply want to brush well and move on - possibly while using their phone to read or watch something more interesting. App aside, this Sonicare is great at getting teeth clean on its own.Overall though, with an easier to clean handle, an improved case (w/ a faux leather surface that feels nicer, more premium) as well as the novel charge glass - it’s great! It improves on the best and makes for a better product and daily use.Good Stuff:- Great quality, as usual. (More time will tell for sure, but prior models lasted many years.)- Easier to clean design, without nooks and crannies.- Effective and useful charge glass is a nice improvement to my counter space.- Amazingly good at getting teeth clean.- Sleek, black finish and classier travel case.Less than Good Stuff:- App is silly, doesn’t provide much value beyond initial education on use.- When charging, handle looks a bit haphazard sitting off-angle in the glass.
