after 2.5 years it died and wouldn't turn on anymore. It keeps happening to all the phillips toothbrushes I buy. I don't know if it's worth it. The brush heads are also very expensive. Going back to old school toothbrush now.

I bought this toothbrush after seeing some friends and some old roommates use it and I loved it… for the 2 years that it worked.My sonicare no longer charges and without any option to factory reset the device at home, it is now a very expensive manual toothbrush.Customer service will not warranty without a receipt. Which is fair, but I did not think that I would need to keep a paper receipt for a toothbrush I thought would last much longer.Let this be a warning, keep your proof of purchase!

I tend to brush aggressively with the manual tooth brush and this is preventing from doing this. I was dubious that an electric toothbrush could clean my teeth better than using a normal toothbrush but after the first use I was sold. My teeth feel so much cleaner and smoother. I haven’t used my old toothbrush since.
This is my third Phillips toothbrush and I use them because they clean my teeth very well. The first one worked great for several years but the "On" button broke. The second one stopped working within 2 years of purchase as again, the "On" button failed.I paid extra for a more expensive version this time so hopefully this one lasts longer. I love the cleaning but if the quality doesn't improve, this will be my last purchase.
So far this is the best tooth cleaning experience I had. I purchased additionally Philips Sonicare All-in-one brush heads, and they seem to give much better cleaning than the original because of the longer bristles on the edges, which leans tight spaces between teeth.At first you need to get used to it, as it feels a little uncomfy and ticklish, and may not be the best fit for those who have sensitive teeth and gums. But for me personally it worked pretty well. My previous electric brush was OralB, and I should admit that I am much happier with Phillips.
Toothbrush comes in a handy travel case with an elegant charger stand. We also bought 6 extra heads in black. In the last I've used oral b toothbrushes, this has a fair quicker brushing actions and vibrates very quickly, which does take a bit of getting used to.The timer for making sure you brush each quadrant of your mouth is handy as well as the change in vibrations when pressing to hard. Over all it's a great brush but I'm not sure I would pay full price and am glad we got it on special.
I got this toothbrush a few months ago and use it often. This brush cleans really well, and is very powerful without being harsh. It is still gentle, and both modes, clean and gum care are gentle. I noticed significant difference in my oral hygiene after switching to this brush, my dental office noticed as well. Less tartar forms while using this brush regularly, my gums are healthier, and my teeth are whiter as well. I'm extremely happy with this brush and highly recommend. It also carries a charge for a very long time, I've been extremely impressed with it and would definitely keep using and buy a similar model in the future when I need to but I don't see that happening soon because the product is so great I'm sure I won't need to replace for a long time.
After using this product, I finally have clean teeth. For years I've tried different toothbrushes and different toothpaste but not effective in cleaning my teeth properly. The first time using this product - my teeth felt so clean and they also were very clean. I will be getting veneers done and it was suggested that I use a Philips - so I consider this electric toothbrush a good investment added to having my teeth restored.
After believing for years that 'a better brush has a round head' and having my dentist tell me I'm not cleaning properly, I decided not to keep doing the same thing and expecting different results. A change was in order and that came in the form of the Philips Sonicare. My teeth feel cleaner, inter-dental cleaning is better, my gums are healthier and I'm happier using it.
