Bought these for my 90year old Mum who is not techno savvy. Easy to use and very comfortable over the ears. Seems to have quite a wide range and performance (unlike our other v expensive headphones) not affected by other devices like microwaves. Only downside if using in your bedroom the blinking light on the cradle is VERY bright.

The headphones over ear are good but could be better especially considering the high price. The recharge cradle is a hit and miss at the end of the night the last thing uou want is to give up on charging it and find it uncharged the next time you eangvto use it. But the worst thing is the dropping out that seems to happen when moving head around. O t her than heat good sound and work good.

Battery lasted 3 weeks. In isolation cant access new batteries. Spoke to good guys they are going to send me out replacement batteries at my expense. Wont send till I pay. Said I would pay over phone. Wont except over phone still waiting for them to send email or text to use their payment system. Been 2 hrs now still nothing that means wont be in tomorrows mail. Very poor
Unfortunately these headphones have been returned to HN after only 24hrs.In our cinema room the base has a very bright white light which is annoying. When headphone is charging this light becomes a very bright green flashing light. These can be overcome by placing a bit of black tape on the light.Worst part is that; The headphone switches on automatically when the band across the top stretches to a certain point. In my case and even more my partners case, it means that the headphone needs to be pushed lower than where I would like it to sit on my head and is pushing down on the top of my ears. There is no adjustment for this. This means that every time I move my head it cuts in and out. We were quite happy for the first five months, great sound etc, but suddenly they stopped working. Turned out the battery hadn't charged, so tried to reseat it on the charge base. Showed flashing green light for about 3 mins, then it went off. Did this about six times but same thing every time. This is faulty!!
I bought the headsets from Good Guys recently, to be used with the Samsung TV I bought fro the Good Guys in February. We were assured by a vey helpful young lady that they were compatible with each other. We have had a technician trying to pair them but to no avail, it seems we will have to save and buy a new TV so that we can use the headsets. So I am sure the product is very good however, I have not had the chance to use them. Leaving me unable to hear the TV until we can solve our problem.
I had to pull them down to activate the off/on but they were then a quarter way down my ears. Couldn't find how to adjust them. The other reviews confirm that there is no adjustment as do the reponses from Phillips. Good sound otherwise but annoyingly uncomfortable. Also installation pamphlet is too brief, too technical and not understood.
There is a push-button on one ear-piece alongside the volume control but absolutely no reference to it in the sparse instruction manual. I assume it is an on/off control, but no way of knowing if it on or off as there is no indicator light. The head strap actuation leaves no facility to adjust earpiece position - one size fits all...
I'm 70 and my wife's and my hearing is not what it used to be, making it somewhat difficult to understand the dialogue while watching films on TV. So we purchased two of the Philips Wireless Home Theatre Headphones and can hear all the dialogue... better than being in the cinema actually. They're very good. Note if you want to run two pairs of headphones from the back of your TV, you will need an Digital Optical Splitter (approx $35 from Jaycar here in Western Australia) that plugs into the optical output of your TV... and has two or more optical outputs, thus allowing you to run more than one set of headphones.
