I love philosophy body washes. They come in several nice scents and this Senorita Margarita is one of my favorites. Senorita Margarita scent smells like a Margarita, but the scent is subtle, clean and fresh and you dont smell like you just came out of a Bar afterward. If you like a body wash with scent that lasts after your out of the bath, this one is Not for you. Thats the case with most Philosophy bath washes (except the perfumed "Graces"). But that feature IS one main reason WHY I like philosophy washes so much. The scent smells good in the shower, but doesn't interfere with my perfume. Also philosophy washes are moisturizing and dont leave my skin dry. With some other Brands/body washes my skin starts to feel dry if I dont apply moisturizer right away. Although this is a 3-in 1 Shampoo/Bubble Bath/ Body wash, I mostly use this as a shower gel, but have used it as a bubble bath and shampoo. I was surprised how soft it left my hair the first time I did. For me the worst thing about Philosophy body washes are they run more expensive that others, but because they leave my skin feeling so geat, I buy them anyway, but only when I find them at a good price. Thanks to Amazon for the good deal/price on this one. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I absolutely love Philosophy's body lotions and this is no exception. I adore the fact that they aren't heavily scented. It's only fitting that they carry the clean, lightness of their eau de toillettes and eau de parfums into their lotions. When you put this on you just get a whisper of the blackberry and vanilla scent. It isn't interfering, nor is it cloying. The texture is light but not runny at all. I detest runniness in lotions! It moisturizes lightly also, so this as well as Philosophy's other lotions are best suited for summertime use. Unless you layer this over something richer, this may not suit a dry skin type. I'm a huge admirer of the packaging. The fact that all of their bottles are clear is excellent. Also, the simplicity of it and the inspiring message is so aesthetically pleasing. This just looks great in your bathroom or wherever you happen to keep your lotion. This one is lovely. I'm a devout Pure Grace user, but I think Falling in Love is a nice, flirty alternative for days when it might be more appropriate to switch things up a bit.

The scent and the lotion is lovely (though I do prefer the Grace scent)… when you get to it! The pump came separately from the bottle and there’s a little bit of a trick to get this to work. First, unscrew the pump before attempting to install. Then, be prepared for a LOT of product to be displaced. The lotion is filled to the brim and the space taken up by the installed pump results in a fairly significant overflow. So, be prepared with towels or something to capture the spill. (I called Customer Service to let them know and they said they would pass this along to the Quality tram but figured you all could benefit from a bit of forewarning.) Enjoy!

The lotion is rich and does a good job but it smells awful. I can only wear it when I am going to be alone and plan to shower before I see anyone. I believed the reviews that say it smelled good, even after I had already tried a bottle. The lotion does such a great job that I was actually hopeful that perhaps the first bottle I used may have been old product. Also 2 of my 3 free perfume samples had only clear water in them. No perfume at all. I did check with others to be sure. The third sample was definitely diluted as to color and smell. Just really disappointed.
Philosophy lotions are great. They absorb quickly and leave you feeling soft and scented. I love the lemon custard. It’s tart yet creamy, and it is a great pick me up. I’m kind of undecided about sweet vanilla fig. There isn’t much vanilla at all…it’s very strong and almost perfume-like. It’s sharp to my nose. I wouldn’t purchase this particular scent again. But scent is subjective, so you may love it!
For many years I've focused on the bare minimum and that's the pure beauty of THIS Amazing scent of Grace! Since they named it "Amazing" it's truly THAT! A pure clean fresh, yet light hint of floral wafering through the air once you pass by is truly what I hear most. No residue or film left when you leave the shower. Just that nice feeling for days as if you JUST stepped out of the shower once you layer the shower gel/body wash along with the body emulsion. Hmmmm! Makes you feel so good! I highly recommend these products and hope when you try them and you'll fall in love too as I have; for many years as well.
This lotion is my new best friend now, sounds weird but I'm that happy with it. Not only does it smell heavenly but it goes on so smoothly, and gets absorbed into the skin in the way that a good lotion should. This lotion actually goes a bit further, the part I appreciate the most about it, and keeps your skin feeling soft longer than any lotion I have ever used. I love the scent, it's a soft vanilla that is not cheap smelling like a lot of vanilla based lotions out there. It is not overpowering, but more like aromatherapy to my senses. There is no better lotion that this, in my opinion. I have tried EVERYTHING for my dry skin, I have eczema that worsens in the winter and it hurts but this lotion is a miracle worker.
I have been using this lotion for about 5 years and I absolutely love it! The scent is so nice, I frequently get headaches from perfume and fragrances, but this is such a light and pleasant scent I have never had any issues with it. It's not floral or fruity, more of a clean/feminine fragrance. I work in healthcare so I try not to wear anything too strong or something that would cause a patient to have an allergic reaction. Never had an issue with this and I get compliments all the time about how good I smell! I will continue to purchase for years to come.
I purchased this lotion because I love the scent of bergamot I love bergamot. However, the scent of this lotion is unlike any bergamot that I have smelled previously. I cannot use it as body lotion because I do not like the scent. I took the bottle to my job to use it as hand lotion after I have washed my hands. I do not use it very often because I have other hand lotions that I enjoy the scent of, the bergamot lotion is reserved for when I run out of all other lotions. The scent is pungent to me. It smells like flowers mixed with bug spray.
I have switched to using Amazing Grace because of the light and natural scent. I use the bath gel, follow up with body lotion and light spritz of the perfume. However, I find it's not lasting as long because the lotion is a much weaker version than the previous lotion. If you are making the product for those allergic to the scent, maybe consider making 2 versions... scent free and scented? I really believe people buy the product for its original, natural, fresh smelling scent. When layered with those three original products, the lovely, fresh scent can remain the entire day.
