Philosophy Amazing Grace Luminous Body Oil 120ml

I recieved the Philosophy luminous body oil from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. The glass packaging gives it a fancy feel and does come with a spray applicator. I do like it because it makes it a lot easier to apply. When applied to your skin it looks glowy and glittery. After it dries down, it just looks like glitter. There wasn’t much moisturizing as they claim, especially if you’re someone with dry skin. I actually have a few glitter sprays and this one has very fine glitter compared to others. I wore it to dinner and it reflects nicely and lasts all day. The scent is a faint clean smell but it isn’t over bearing if you’re planning to add perfume on top. It’s an okay product, I just don’t see how this is worth $50

Wanted to love this product—it’s SO gorgeous in the bottle!! But ultimately it was not a great fit for me. The oil feels squeaky/drying and not moisturizing. The fragrance, despite being labeled as light, was super strong and long lasting. I applied it minimally to test the fragrance and sparkle on a section of my leg. It was overwhelmingly strong for the rest of the day—even through sweating. The long lasting fragrance garnered the attention of those around me, but not in a positive way. Was hoping to wear this for an upcoming event, but I can’t put the other guests through it. If you’re someone who loves a strong, long lasting scent—this is a winner!

Not really because there is anything wrong with the product itself, the scent just really wasn't a scent I enjoyed. My skin felt a little hydrated after use, but not overwhelmingly so. And I didn't feel like I could really see much of a glow either. After rubbing it in all I could really see is the glitter that is in it. And it says it's not greasy but even once it dries down, which it does dry down pretty quickly, I do feel it leaves a bit of a greasy feel. To the point where I definitely felt the need to wash my hands after applying because I could feel the greasiness on my hands. I found the best application was to spray in my hand and then apply, otherwise I felt like it sprayed everywhere. What I don’t love are the fragrance and how the oil doesn’t absorb well into my skin. It’s a heavier feeling oil, which seemed to just sit on my skin (arms and legs) and become sticky-feeling with the Florida humidity. Even the next morning, my skin seemed a bit tacky still. Don't WASTE Your $$$ - NO Sparkle OR Scent...

VERY disappointed, I fell for the on-air hype again. First off - the "shimmer" lasts only a moment and then it's gone. GONE. The glow it provides is minimal at best when first spraying on. I got Pure Grace, one of my (used to be) favorites, and it (sorry) stunk. I washed it off after a couple hours. I thought it would dry down to something good - NOT. Further, the other posts are correct. It dries out your skin horribly. You can SEE the dryness it causes. I confess I initially bought it for the summer healthy-looking sheen it could provide, but there is nothing redeeming about this product. I don't know what's going on with Philosophy and its' parent company, but it AIN'T good... It goes on very light. If you spray it normally, it dries fairly quick. But, if you overspray it'll take a while for it to dry, and you don't want to have your clothes get oily, so if you're in a hurry to go somewhere, do not spray on too many layers.This spray gives you a nice light luminous sparkle, without making you look like you've just come back from partying all night. This is SUCH an amazing body oil! I love how sparkly it is, it looks so pretty and makes my skin look so glowy! It’s easy to apply with it being a spray bottle, and rubbing it into the skin is quick! It absorbs quickly while still leaving the luminous aspect fully in tact. It’s also a nice, refreshing scent that isn’t overpowering yet strong enough to still get compliments on. You can use this alone or pair it with the perfume! I’ve used plenty of body oils in the past and this is by far my favorite one. It has everything you could ever want or need in a body oil all in one! It smells like fresh flowers and hydrates my skin, I love it!

[Rewarded Review] Scent isn’t too strong but skin definitely glistens

Wow! I didn’t think I would like this as much as I did. I love glitter and upon first glance I thought this was a bit too much for my 41 year old self. But!! After I sprayed some onto my legs I didn’t notice too much glitter but my legs glistened and felt smooth. The scent was not overpowering and I lived the consistency of the oil. It was not too heavy. When I went outside I noticed the glitter on my skin and thought it looked very nice and not over the top. I definitely recommend this for those spring and summer days of tackling dry skin and looking good. Love it!!! Oh! The bonus was it was a spray. I have the Tom ford body oil and the nars oil and I always over pour on my hand so this was a nice surprise too.

[Rewarded Review] Smells nice but not a fan of the glitter

Philosophy’s Amazing Grace Luminous Body Oil is not your basic body oil. It is actually a thicker, kind of gooey oil. But it spread on my skin and absorbed very nicely! The light scent was also very lovely, it smelled fresh and clean. The only thing I didn’t care about was the glitter. After the oil absorbed, I wasn’t left with a sheen or a glow. My skin was only covered with a multitude of tiny specks of shimmering glitter. It distracted me during the day every time I caught a glimpse of myself with all that glitter adhered to my arms lol. A nice glow I can appreciate, but at age 58, I guess visible glitter is just not my thing. Other than that, the oil was nice enough. The scent was honestly the best part though.
