Philosophy Amazing Grace Spray Fragrance Eau De Toilette 15ml

I had never tried this perfume, but was excited to do so because of the Philosophy name. The standard Amazing Grace scent was my least favorite honestly. The scent was more of a heavy floral and almost a more mature accent for me. I know others love it, but it’s not for me. The Amazing Grace lavender was nicer, it did make the scent more enjoyable for me. The addition of the calming lavender is a nice twist. My favorite of the bunch though was the bergamot. It makes a bright scent that is enjoyable and doesn’t require a lot of product. The bottles were a nice size for getting to try a product out and a great price when taking into account that you’re getting three quality scents. I’d recommend trying!

I am absolutely in love with the Philosophy Amazing Grace Edt Twist Collection! I fell in love with the original Amazing Grace scent many years ago. This set is absolutely gorgeous!! I would definitely gift this to a perfume lover or even someone who isn’t super into perfumes but is curious. I absolutely ADORE the Bergamot scent! It’s a little spicy, warm, but still elegant and clean. And it works with my body chemistry (which has issues—sometimes a nice perfume will start smelling like gasoline on me haha!). I will absolutely have this is my rotation. The Lavender was nice too but didn’t quite work with my body chemistry. I liked the overtones of lavender but it didn’t mesh well with me. I can absolutely see someone who likes lavender and has a more neutral body chemistry loving this! Then they add on AG Bergamot and AG Lavender. All three are soft and sweet just as the name suggests, with the original being more white floral dominate. I get a lot of the jasmine but in a subdued musk that keeps this way de toilette from becoming over powering. The lavender version holds the same profile but the white florals take a backseat to the lavender musk. AG Bergamot seems to be a zinger. The fragrance opens with a blast of bright, citrusy bergamot which then dries down to a bergamot musk. That musky base runs through all of these scents and is really grounding. The three work for so many occasions, none are offensive or overbearing. The 15 ml bottles have great sprayers, are small enough to throw in a bag or purse to refresh as the day goes on. I’m truly liking all three. The longevity is pretty good for an eau de toilette. After spraying, it was pretty subtle and didn't last as long as the other two. They are a decent sized bottles for trying them out, perfect for my purse. All the scents are perfect scents for the summer/spring. The Bergamot could also be used during the fall. My 2 favorites from this collection were the original “Amazing Grace “ and “Amazing Grace Lavender “. They both had great staying power and lasted awhile. If i had to purchase one of the perfumes, I would most likely get the Orignal! But otherwise this set is perfect to give as a gift or to purchase yourself to try out the different

A GREAT FRAGRANCE WITH LITTLE STAYING POWER!

This beautiful fragrance has been one of two fragrances that are my all-time favorites. However, as much as I love this fragrance, it does not stay fragrant for very long. It simply doesn’t have good staying power as it should for the price. I recently gave a four ounce bottle to a friend, and even though she loved the smell of it, the beautiful notes just didn’t stay with her either. Philosophy needs to step up to the plate and increase the intensity and longevity of this scent. Also, the body creams don’t hydrate as much as they should. My skin shows signs of extreme dryness by the end of the day. This is really disheartening after paying the price that’s demanded. Amazing Grace is AMAZING!

I have been using Philosophy Amazing Grace Eau de toilette Spray for over 5 years. It smells of Bergamot, light musk and light flowers. I am a daily wearer of Amazing Grace…If I don’t have it on I feel like I’m not completely dressed. I discovered this scent because a gal was wearing it and we were in an elevator! I’ve worn it ever since. I get complimented 70% of the time of “oh my gosh, you smell so good, what is that”? In the past, I’ve worn Shalimar, Opium, Dior & Chanel #5. This has been my favorite for more years than the others. I also have the hair/body shampoo, the body lotion and the 2oz perfume. Great for layering the scent! My picture is what I feel like after I’ve used my Amazing Grace products! Nordstrom shipping was amazing, as always!!!

With the amount of bad reviews that longtime customers have left, indicating that amazing Grace was once their lifelong fragrance, it’s hard for me to believe that the company hasn’t decided to go back to the old formula!!!It’s hard to believe the excuse as to why it’s different since Coty bought the company, because if a change in regulations had happened, it would not be just this one perfume that changed! I’m fairly certain that there are other perfumes out there made with the same stuff that the original formula used, how come none of them has had a change as dramatic and obvious as the change in Amazing Grace.telling us that it smells different because of regulations etc is not taking accountability for changing the original formula. Fresh, Clean, Feminine Scent

I Love, LOVE Amazing Grace! It is a fresh, clean and very feminine scent. It is light, never overpowering and I always receive compliments about it when someone leans in….Drs, Dentists, Hair Stylists or anyone who hugs me.Amazing Grace does not have strong *sillage*Sillage is the French word for the perfume trail we leave. The heavier the sillage, the more likely I will get a headache. Fortunately & most importantly, I never get a Migraine from Amazing Grace. I’ve adored many other scents on other people but would often get a headache > then Migraine if I attempted to wear their fragrance.

Original Amazing Grace scent

Have been using Amazing Grace eau de toilette for more than 15 years.Unfortunately something has happened to the scent. Can no longer smell it on yourself, once you put it on. No longer receive compliments because it does not maintain the fragrance. Have tried other Amazing Grace fragances,such as Intense, it is too sweet and not light and airy. Was told that Coty purchased this line from Philosophy and they have changed it. Such a shame. Have been looking for a new fragrance. None of the Amazing Grace line can compare. Hopefully, if you receive enough unhappy comments, you might go back to the original formula.Thank you.
