When we were in the hospital, my baby had to take milk from bottle as I'm very weak. This Pigeon bottle is the first we used without reading any reviews, we're so in a rush in buying one because our newborn didn't like the bottles that we bought prior to giving birth. My baby got comfortable with this immediately and so we purchased more. This is a really good bottle. The teats are soft, it's light and very easy to clean and store.

These bottles are so convenient! I’m currently breastfeeding my newborn but find it really hard to do so when I need to be out of the house. All I have to do is express my breast milk at home and take it with me whenever I need to go somewhere. Baby takes the bottle well and it saves me time from finding a private room/area to breast feed.

We have been using pigeon for nearly a year now,, bubs loves it. However there must be a fault in the design as the otter part to the teats come apart after only a month or 2 of use and then they are no good, you have to throw them out as it leaks or is pulled through the bottle. If they fixed this problem with their teats it would be amazing!

The Y cut allows 100% flow control. Milk flows only when the baby sucks the teat. No chance of overflow. My baby now grew up to 14 months. still using this Y-cut. we tried the next level which is L size for 9 months. My baby wanted to hold the bottle by herself and with the L size teat whenever she tried to bring the bottle near to her mouth the milk was just sprayed in a straight line out! shooting out! milk was all over her face. She didn't like that. So, we stopped using the L size and moved back to Y-size and still using it.
I tried this bottle with my first born when she was only 10 weeks old. We had tried other brands, but she never took to them. The first time at trying the Pidegon bottle, she took it straight away and never had any problems. We then got more for our next baby, and again had no issues. We love this brand and would recommend it to anyone. Won't use another brand again!
These are exactly the same as the 6 month Y cut Pigeon teat. I emailed Pigeon to ask if they were exactly the same as I already had that stage. Pigeon decided to go down the route of 'deception will make us the most money rather than choosing to be honest. They evaded my repeated attempts to get a straight answer. These are the same. If you have the 6 month Y cut, don't bother to upgrade.
My baby was using this teat and we needed to size up. Didn’t know if she would take the wide neck so got this one just in case. Haven’t used it but as a newborn she was happy with the smaller size.
Placing your confidence in a product can sometimes leave you frustrated and out of pocket. 6month Y teet is exactly that. The previous teets are round, and my son has never had an issue sucking milk out. The 6month teet changes to a Y which my son finds impossible to suck milk out of. Upon investigation, it seems many people have this issue, and have realised the 9month teet goes back to a round hole (??). I recommend saving your money, skip this teet and wait until your baby can have the L. Within two feeds we reverted back to his old teets, and will wait for the L size closer to 9 months. Extremely annoyed as we bought 8 teets, unaware that this was a major issue.
I bought the teets to size up from the M and am not happy with the results. The previous teets were excellent but when my son drinks from the Y teet all of the air gets sucks out of the teet and he has to stop feeding so I can unscrew the bottle/teet lid to let the air out and then the teet becomes dislodged. Sometimes the milk spills out, very frustrating. We bought 8 teets and I regret it.
Like other one star reviews for this product, I bought these as the upgrade from M (4 months), not realising this was a mistake. When you tip the bottle upside down nothing comes out, unlike the 4m which has a steady flow. Since milk only comes out of this teat when baby sucks, my daughter took 15/20mins to drink what usually took her 5/10mins on M. She would get tired and not drink the whole thing, but when I switched back to M she finished it off, showing she was actually hungry and would have otherwise not drunk anything. I wish I read reviews saying not to buy this teat as I also wasted money on 8. My only consolation is hoping I can use them for next baby when they are 0 months since the flow only comes when they suck. Very disappointed!
