Best bottles for breastfed babies. My 4 week old baby needed top up feeds while i was starting out, and these didnt cause nipple confusion but also helped keep my tongue tied baby thriving. These teats were recommended to us from a lactation consultant who is also a nurse and midwife. We dont need to use these bottles anymore, but will only use these if I need someone to feed baby and I can't be there.

These are seriously the best bottles ever. I wish I'd found them for my first child. I've used these from 3 weeks with my premmie twins and they have been fantastic for them. One of my babies had feeding complications and these bottles were great for her to use. Both babies have taken so well to these bottles. They could go between breast and bottle really easily due to the clever design of the teats.The bottles reduce any air intake so my babies didn't get much ‘wind' pain at all. Feeding twins is a real mission in and of itself, the design of these bottles made it easy to feed two babies at the same time. These bottles are excellent! I was previously using the normal bottles with the white necks, but they became discoloured and cloudy in my UV steriliser. I checked on the pigeon website and those bottles are for low use only, not every day rotation for a sustained time. So I upgraded to the PPSU and some glass ones as well, and they are definitely looking like new for much longer. My baby has no trouble with the Pigeon bottles. She took to the number 1 teats super well, struggled with the number 2 S teats but went straight onto the number 3 M teats with ease. I read that number 1 is a small round hole that drips milk very slowly whether she sucks or not; number 2 is a bigger round hole that also drips milk without suction, but drips more and was probably dripping too ... These bottles are in a different league to the others! They were recommended to me by a friend who said that they are best for newborns because they are the ones used in NICU. My newborn was struggling to latch so I had to either change to formula or start expressing… these Pigeon made the transition to expressing seamless. I have already ordered the same style in a larger size for when she is bigger and I’ve recommended these to all my friends with babies. Thanks Pigeon!
I love this product and so does my little girl. I tried so many bottles before she would take a bottle and now she is super excited every time she sees her bottle. As happy as I am with the product, i think it is unfair that teets are only sold seperately and I didnt have a choice to buy new bottles with different size teets. Because I wouldve updated the bottles each time I went up a size.
Absolutely worth every cent. My daughter finally takes a bottle. I can finally pump and feed my baby or get someone else to while I can shower. I haven’t had a break in three months since having my baby and I cannot express how incredibly relieved I am. I’ve tried countless other bottles and this is the o my one that works.
Recommended by lactation consultant and worked well for our baby. Bought PPSU for the longer life compared to pigeon regular bottles (6months vs 3months regular usage).Have 4 of these and 4 of smaller size, so when Bub transitions to larger quantities we already have 4 bottles on hand. We’ll just switch up the teats after two months back to the medium, after using ss and S teats in these bottles currently. Thats the recommended teat replacement timing anyway :)
The BEST Bottles! Our girls absolutely love them! we started on another brand which leaked into their mouths, girls had lots of gas. These bottles force our girls to suck properly, and do not leak or dribble into their mouths. Bottles can tip over and they won't leak. Amazing. Wish we knew about them earlier!!
My baby is 4 months and only breastfed because refused to take a bottle since birth.I had tried every brand and persisted everyday Medela, Avent, Tommee Tippee, Dr Browns, Minbie... 8 brands. I gave up after the paediatrician said he will most likely never take a bottle because he has a condition called tongue thrust. I came across this bottle at the chemist and gave it one last try and thank goodness I trusted my instincts because he took the bottle without any fuss at all. It was the textured surface that allowed him to latch on and have good tongue position. This bottle actually taught him to even use a dummy and outgrow the tongue thrust after the 2nd use. I literally am on cloud 9 right now!
This is the only bottle I’ve found that my baby will take. It has given me soo much mental and physical relief being able to express milk and have her feed from a bottle. I cannot recommend these bottles enough. Thankyou pigeon for saving me!
