Pigeon Softouch Glass Peristaltic Plus Bottle - 240ml
Product Descriptions Pigeon’s range of wide neck feeding bottles include the highly acclaimed Softouch Peristaltic PLUS teat – the result of extensive research in latching, peristaltic movement and swallowing. The Softouch Peristaltic Plus teat aims to be the closest teat to a mother’s nipple to reduce nipple confusion and promote easy bottle feeding. Made from a strengthened borosilicate glass (the same glass used in glass measuring jugs) in an ergonomic design. Includes an M Teat. The M teat tip is a cross-cut or Y-cut, meaning no milk will drip out without your baby actively sucking. When your baby does suck, the cross-cut opens like petals of a flower allowing as much milk to flow through as the strength of your baby’s suck. This is why this style of teat is often called a Variable cut.

Switched to Pigeon SofTouch from another well-known brand and we couldn't be happier. Our little Miss no longer has trouble with the flow and no more leaks, which equals a happy baby with with a full tummy.

I recently use this glass bottle to feed my son, he seem took longer time to feed and he can't even finish the milk. Also, I found the flow from this 3mths teat is relatively slower than my 0+ teat. I tried to press on the teat while upside down the bottle (image attached) there is no milk drip out which I feel weird about it. Can this be a faulty from the teat?

Love having these glass bottles! They’re sooo much easier to clean than plastic, and stay looking fresh for ages. They’re nice slim bottles that fit well in the nappy bag!

I think glass is best choice for every day use, as is a healthy and robust material.I use the yellow plastic bottles for going out as they are also robust but lighter weight. This is the best bottle I have tried and the only of many that I would use for my baby. Excellent for my premmie, part breast fed baby.
Love this bottle. The improvement of the bottle being shorter and wider is so much better and helps with balance if you have sore wrists from carrying baby and then for baby to hold when they are older.
These bottles are great, this is the first time I’ve had glass bottles and honestly a game changer. So much easier to clean and I know they will last longer than the plastic ones I’m constantly replacing! If you’re thinking of making the switch, you should!
LOVE these bottles! They are light, the perfect shape for holding and easy to clean with the wide neck. My baby Loves the teats that change with his age so he always has the perfect suction. I wouldn't' use anything else!
My daughter took it straight away! Also preferred it much more than the newer range you have! Glad you haven’t gotten rid of these. I will be buying more!
These bottles are the best! Our lactation consultant recommended them when we wanted to combine feed our baby from the breast and bottle, as they have minimal nipple confusion. We had tried Tommee Tippee and Dr Brown’s previously with no luck. These also worked out well for her in terms of reflux. The glass is thick and strong and has withstood a few drops in the sink, but I assume would break if I dropped one on the floor. We also have the PPSU plastic bottles and those are equally great. The glass bottles are taller than the PPSU bottles so be sure that they will fit in your steriliser. We did the the normal PU plastic bottles but they got cloudy and discoloured in our UV steriliser which led me to research a bit further on the pigeon website; the PU bottles are ... We did the the normal PU plastic bottles but they got cloudy and discoloured in our UV steriliser which led me to research a bit further on the pigeon website; the PU bottles are for low use only, so aren’t made to be your everyday bottles for a long time. The PPSU and glass are high use so can be on rotation constantly. I like that with glass there is no chance of plastic leeching into my baby’s milk. I am less worried about this with PPSU as well, but I guess there’s always a possibility. My only wish is that they had cuter colours or designs like other bottles!
The glass bottle itself is great. I highly recommend them. Unfortunately the teat is a let down. Easily breaks which is a pain with how much these are. Definitely buy extra teats if purchasing this.
