Generally speaking, all marker pens have their own ink source with a porous tip made from felt or ceramic materials. They first hit the U.S. market in the 1960s and very quickly became a must-have writing tool. Their instant popularity led to the creation of better markers designed for expanded applications at home, work and in the classroom. Today, marker pens are an incredibly smooth writing instrument with liquid ink technology that resists bleeding through the thinnest paper. Many different colours, styles, and tip widths are readily available. The quick drying water-based ink helps combat smudging and smearing and is nontoxic. Pilot has implemented a special tip feed technology that prevents the pens from drying out when the cap is accidentally left off for long periods of time. Like other Pilot pens, they are great for signing, marking faxes, and have a visible ink supply to alert for refills. About Pilot Pilot is a global Japanese brand known for innovation and quality writing instruments. In Australia, Pilot is the brand of choice amongst consumers looking for a smooth writing experience combined with quality and reliability. The Pilot range is extensive, covering premium gold nib fountain pens to everyday ballpoint pens and markers. Most pens are manufactured in Japan, with some also made in France and the US. Innovation is a key to Pilot’s global success. In 2005 Pilot created ‘FriXion’, Australia’s best selling erasable pen. FriXion uses a unique thermo-sensitive gel ink. The friction caused by rubbing the paper generates heat which causes the ink to become invisible. With no damage to the paper, you can erase and instantly re-write over your mistakes.

Excellent product. I used it on my Model Motorcycle Wheel Rims in place of the transfers which were problematic. Two coats gave an excellent finish and any over painting was easy to remove. Gave me the finish I needed.

The ink is very opaque (as long as you shake it really well before each use), dries quickly, and flows smoothly out of the nib. The ink isn't waterproof and wipes off hard surfaces easily with soapy water, which makes it great for temporary decorations. It writes very well on porous surfaces such as paper, but if you use it on non-porous surfaces like plastic it can chip a little bit once it's dry, kind of like how correction fluid/twink chips.

I use these for painting wooden story spoons and love the quality and fine nib. I've used them on stones too. Maybe a little more expensive than buying a pack elsewhere but well worth the extra expense in my book. I've bought nearly every colour now.
Love this white pen it adds a special bright effect to my artwork good quality pen. Easy to use. Highly recommended
These markers arrived just in time for some school holiday fun with my granddaughter. She selected some redwork embroidery designs which we stitched out and then colored in together. The color range is fantastic, i know we will be buying more.
I wanted the Extra Fine pen, not the one they sent.So a total waste of money.
Fabulous product. We are painting on stones and creating some gorgeous masterpieces!
