It's about the finest-tipped pen you can get at Office Depot, so I've run through a lot of these (before I found JetPens). The grip is comfortable, and the ink is a lovely, dark black, but those are about its only pluses. It smudges like nobody's business (especially as you move up in line widths), and I've never actually been able to finish using a full barrel of ink. Nearly every single G-2 I've ever bought has started skipping when the ink level reaches about the halfway mark, to the point that it's completely unusable with 1/4 to 1/3 of the ink still in the barrel. You deserve better. We all deserve better. Go get a Uni Signo UM-151 instead.

These are the only pens I use at work. I ha v e Teo pen holder slots: one for miscellaneous pens (that are for anyone to use) and one for my Pilot G2 pens (shich I keep a close count of). They write beautifully and are easy to hold. Ink never skips like some other pens can do. I also prefer a fine pen, and these are just the best ones. I love either black or blue ink, but also love the colors too. Highly recommend!

I just picked up an old as balls Pilot G-2 0.38 mm that my mom had lying around. It wrote perfectly when I put it to paper, and gosh does it write well.Usually I find tips smaller than 0.5 to be scratchy, but this is buttery smooth and never skips. I love it, and I will definitely be using this to do my schoolwork and math problems and stuff after summer :)

I've been using this pen for essays in highschool and haven't replaced it once so it is very ink efficient (I've had it for 3 months and haven't replaced it). Very comfortable, my middle finger is sensitive and usually gets sore when writing with others pens (because I press it onto the pen), but the grip erased the pain I usually have in my fingers. The grip is great. The pen is great and I have 0 complaints.
I've been buying these for years. Love the smooth flow of ink, and ultra fine tip. Great quality pens but the lack of availability of refills is really bad for the environment and knocks one star off the rating for me.
These are the only pens I buy and have been buying for years. They are comfortable to hold, and they perform reliably. Also, because Im lefthanded we drag our hands over what weve just written, I appreciate that my hand remains remarkably ink smudge free. This pen also comes in a variety of ink colors. I definitely recommend the pens.
These pens, are nice because you can buy a pack of refills and refill them when they are empty I love using a pen and paper and writing anything, I actually prefer it to like writing lists in my phone.. so, these pens have a tiny tip that sometimes can be irritating for me, because it makes the ink go out occasionally and ends up making my writing look messy where the ink dragged or skipped... And it seems like once they drag or skip, it feels like it just keeps happening over and over. Also, the refillable option is great, however I havent actually found myself buying the inserts to actually refill them, I forgetting and end up going and buying a different brand pack of pens.. and the few times I did happen to remember to get the inserts, of course, I couldnt find ... MoreThese pens, are nice because you can buy a pack of refills and refill them when they are empty I love using a pen and paper and writing anything, I actually prefer it to like writing lists in my phone.. so, these pens have a tiny tip that sometimes can be irritating for me, because it makes the ink go out occasionally and ends up making my writing look messy where the ink dragged or skipped... So, while its a good idea, Im wondering how many ppl actually use it As for recommendations, I think there are cheaper pens that perform better. So its all about your preference.
PILOT in the skyPros One of my favorite pen to use during work or even do my school papers. It write very smoothly and the grip is great. Never had a problem with the ink even when I drop it. Medium price compare to other pens, but its worth itCons It does smudge, especially if youre left handed or when your trying to highlight. You would have to wait for at least 5 minutes for it to completely dry out before highlighting it. Summary Would still use it and will continue to purchase.
Disappointed. This Pilot G2 pen has all the same qualities that other G2 pens have. So, if you like Pilot G2 pens, this has the same performance. However, the photos online make the ink look like it is a deep rich, wine red. When I received the pen in the mail, it was more of a dark black pink paper used Word. Notebook. I will test on other papers, but this is what I use everyday. I took 3 stars off because the color was not what I was expecting. It may be a little harsh, since that is the only flaw with this pen. On a side note, there is a barcode sticker on the pen, that leaves a sticky residue when removed. The sticker is placed right where the pen naturally lays on my hand. So be warned if you remove it, I will use some rubbing alcohol to try to remove it.
These are the best reasonably priced ballpoint pens I've ever used. Many years of my work life required a pen in my hand for 90% of my day. So I went thru many different kinds. Even though I had to pay for them, I gladly did; for gel ink that flowed smoothly, and never leaked. #Sweepstakes
