Agree with all the other reviewers, these are great quality pens, I've had them in my collection for years and they're fabulous and reliable for accenting my notes. One of the things to keep in mind as you use them is that some of the colors (violet, pink, green, blue especially) look a little bit darker when they're wet on the page, compared to when they dry. They only take a few seconds to dry; then they settle into the nice muted metallic that matches the swatches on the product page.

Pros:- Bright, vivid colors. Lovely palette.- Tend to write smoother if you let the pen glide lightly across the page without pressing at allCons:- Generally very scratchy; not smooth to write with. I think I would have preferred the .75's, as it seems those tend to write smoother.- The smoothness of each pen seemed to vary by color. I had to make a chart just to determine which I enjoyed writing with based on smoothness. Grape (purple) was the only color that made it to my nice list.- Apple Green is a bright neon color that is very pretty but unfortunately almost impossible to read in daylight- Tiny bit of ghosting from the Baby Pink and Orange pens

These are extremely smooth writing, despite them being so small for a ballpoint pen. The slogan "juicy smooth!" is very well apt here. They don't run too much, they dry quick (which for a .5mm pen they should) and they last a long time since the tip diameter is small. I haven't had any hiccups yet after using the pens and would definitely buy some more in the future.

These pens are great! The colors are true to the pictures and are not as in your face as some vibrant pens can be. The .5 mm tip creates thin and sleek lines that are great if you tend to have smaller handwriting. These pens were a solid purchase. I am very happy with their aesthetically pleasing design and versatility. I plan to use them as an alternative to the bright, unattractive, and traditional red pen to mark up and revise papers and/or assignments for school. I would highly recommend these pens.On a side note: Jet Pens is the best place to buy pens, notebooks, pencils, and what ever else a stationary fanatic's heart may desire. I was soooo excited to get these pens. I had purchased a single .38 in Dark Red and loved it. Well these pens are odd. They all rattle in the most annoying way which I thought I could get over, but add to that the grips all have an odd smell.Like, they smell like a nursing home for lack of a better description. And it is STRONG. I just opened the pack and they are just sitting on my desk and I can smell them and it is just a deal breaker for me.A little inconsistent in the smoothness of the pen too. For example, the single .38 Dark Red is excellent - smooth with no rattle. The purple in this set is "good" even with the mild rattle. Then they just get worse and worse with green being the worst. Inconsistent and hard to see (as light colors usually are but the ... MoreI was soooo excited to get these pens. I had purchased a single .38 in Dark Red and loved it. Well these pens are odd. Inconsistent and hard to see (as light colors usually are but the ink skips). I can get over that too but the smell is so off-putting! I am sooo disappointed and tried 4 of the six hoping I would get at least 3 winners and now I can't return. I am bummed. I am sticking with the Signos.

Let me start by saying that I usually HATE gel pens. Hate them. They skip, the ink is uneven, I don't know what it is about them, but we just don't get along (I usually prefer marker pens or fountain pens). BUT I LOVE THESE PENS! They write incredibly smooth, the colors are vibrant, they worked immediately out of the packet, and they look great too. Very happy that I took a risk and decided to give these a try, I will definitely be purchasing more colors in the future. The only caveat I can offer for this 6 color set is that the apple green is difficult to read on an off-white paper (Campus 6 mm ruled). All of the colors (even apricot orange) are vibrant enough that it's no issue, but I wouldn't use the apple green to write something that I expected another person ... MoreLet me start by saying that I usually HATE gel pens. I really wanted to like these pens, I really did. I ordered a few other pastel pens to try out for a blackout bullet journal I got recently and these just did nothing. The writing was very scratchy, and the sheets of the journal I was using to test the pens was smooth. I can normally appreciate a thinner line, but the line width did little to actually make these colours visible. These barely showed up on the black paper, and the only colours that were 'meh' were the purple and pink. When I tested them on white paper, only the purple was visible, so I kept that one and binned the others. If you want good pastel pens, go with Sakura Gelly Rolls or the Pentel Hybrid Milky pens, those are worth the money to stock up with.
