Pink Sugar by Aquolina Eau De Toilette 100ml Spray

Super sweet, smells like cotton candy -Very yummy, and very enjoyable when I was a young girl/teen. I’ll be honest, I used to be obsessed with this, I wore it all the time. The perfume quickly turns yellow in the bottle, as a warning. It still smells fine though. However, when I purchased one last year, I noticed that all of the bottles have weird things floating in them, it looks like chunks of really gross dust or even possibly mold. I’m not sure why that was in every single bottle, and it’s pretty gross to think about

This is a strange scent I've had sitting around for years. I don't wear it because it gives me a headache. At first I thought it smelled sweet and delicious from the bottle but on my skin it is quite different. Once the fragrance settles down I get something that resembles burning food and black licorice. I expected a fresh baked cupcake type of smell but on me it smells more like someone burned the cake to ash...along with the rest of the kitchen. I do not like this on me but then it can smell really nice on other people. You really have to try this one on your skin before investing in a big bottle.

I tend to lean more towards mature gourmand scents if that makes sense, like a fragrance that is sweet but also balanced out by warmer notes. I also have friends that absolutely love this fragrance I know it is a cult favorite, but I just can’t bring myself to like this. I think it is sickly sweet, it’s actually nauseating. Is the bottle stupidly ugly and juvenile? Yes. Is the off yellow color of the actual perfume a bit off-putting aesthetically? Yes. Do I absolutely love how this smells and douse myself in it from time to time? Also, YES. :) I think although this is an absolute Ethyl Maltol explosion (the chemical compound that makes perfume smell sweet), it has certain complexities to it that should not be overlooked. Like, I can smell the fig leaf, the licorice, and the caramel in this and I think it makes Aquolina's Pink Sugar very unique. It also makes this perfume not very cloying while still being intensely gourmand which I think is a feat in itself. Okay here's the deal, with this it was not what I was expecting. I thought my nose was broken the first time I sprayed this because I definitely did not get what everyone was getting lol I even thought I got a bad batch. Then I tried it again the next day and still wasn't sold, but kept getting whiffs of something. Then the 3rd day I guess I was accustomed to the scent so when I gave it another go I wasn't mad at it, but the thing is with Pink Sugar it's the smell of it after it's been sitting that is great. Personally the opening is not for me lol, it smells like pure lavender from the garden and very green which I didn't like at all. I was convinced I was gonna give it away (a whole 3.4 fl.oz bottle 😂) but now that I've smelt the dry down I absolutely am keeping it. It smells so edible, like something you wanna eat and I'm here for all of that goodness. But I will say be careful when bling buying this because it's a tricky one. I only gave it 3 stars because that opening is not what I'm here for but the dry down is a 10/10 would recommend 😍

I use Pink Sugar roll-on oil that I purchase from a nearby hair store and this perfume smells just like it. I absolutely love it . Now I can have this sugary goodness on both my skin AND my clothes! Unfortunately I can't really exolain how it smells for those who came to the reviews to get a better idea of the scent prior to buying. It literally smells like sugar if it were pink lol. I'm sorry, that's all I've got. Once you smell it, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. I sprayed it on my wrists and shirt 4 hours ago and I can still smell it. Not bad for a toilette. However, like most toilette sprays, it is stronger on clothing than skin

Okay, this one is interesting. You see at first it was a no for me like I thought it smelt like fresh grass shavings mixed with fresh picked lavender (very woody and earthy) which rubbed me the wrong way so it was an absolute no for me. It is an acquired taste I will say, at first I didn't get the sweetness but 3 weeks later I'm spraying this everyday and night ☹️ I think obsessed is an understatement. It's a pleasant smell that just keep getting more and more yummy as it sits. Sometimes I wanna bite into myself it smells so good 🤣. It definitely is sweet, sometimes a little nauseating especially in the morning. Smells like walking past a candy/ice cream shop

I was looking for a perfume that smelled like cotton candy - super sweet and girly. After searching for a while I chose this one online without ever smelling it based on the reviews. It’s smells so amazing and I am so happy I bought it! It’s not exactly a cotton candy, it also has some vanilla/caramel tones. It reminds me of walking past an ice cream or candy store. It’s perfect and if you like sweet girly scents you will probably really enjoy it. Wait for a sale and it’s a great buy, huge bottle as well :)

a must have gourmand for me

the first time I ever used or smelled this scent I was 12 years old in Ulta I think it was. I loved it so much that it's still a perfume that I enjoyed to this day. I haven't bought a bottle in a few years because I had another baby and things have been crazy but I seriously cannot believe that while I was looking on Amazon for Pink Sugar perfumes and body sprays, I come to Walmart and find the full size model on sale for $20?! that's incredible, I'm so happy. this is a smell that brings me so much Joy. I believe the notes are orange cotton candy licorice vanilla musk Etc, It's Just Pure Heaven.
