I love this controller and felt comfortable on it with in minutes. I've come from a Reloop Mixon 8 pro which I just couldnt get on with. The auto BPM works well and i didnt realise i needed big jog wheels until I had them! Possibly a touch on the expensive side but an amazing bit of kit, well built and above all easy and fun to use.

I’ve used this REV-5 for the past three month for mobile high profile gigs. Unfortunately, I’ve encountered hardware and software bugs and last night my worst nightmare became a reality. Last night, at a wedding gig, this controller restarted itself 5 times during mid performance. Very upsetting and will be reaching out for a return.

This is a very nice controller deck. I decided to get this because of the built in buttons for STEMS effects (if you purchase this you will need to go into settings on you laptop and turn STEMS ON). They work wonderfully along with the simplicity of the deck as well. Not at all cluttered with knobs and buttons which is what I had previously with an FLX6. The 3rd and 4th deck are available with the SHFIT button and make thins so much easier to mix. I use rekordbox and have had zero issues during gigs and plan on using this until I'm ready (if I ever decided to) for an upgrade.

The rev5 has all the necessary characteristics for any DJ, either you are a beginner or a professional DJ the REV5 has everything for you; the price point is great; not cheap nor extremely expensive.You have the chance to pick serato or rekordbox, quality of product is very decent, feels ok yet is not premium.
Overall:Dont have alot to say but im very impressed with pioneer. This is a very good controller and the sound quality is excellent. Everything i study on youtube by other Dj was on point and it was easy to use..I needed 2 controllers and this will be my 1st choice for gigs over my Rane 4, dont get it twisted i love love my Rane 4 tho.. Pioneer Thanks For This One , keep up with all the good products..
Clean look. Not heavy. Lise the portability and power source being usb-c. At random times, the unit would make a noise while playing music. Like a short circuit/ feedback sound. It happens multiple times during a set, so I have been waiting fir some free time to have this looked at under warranty.
This controller has made my life so much easier with the dedicated stems buttons. Still getting the hang of the BPM Transition buttons, but I like the weight of it. Light enough to keep in a flight case. Fits perfectly in the Odyssey case for the Rev7. Two thumbs Up!!!
I was looking to learn a new hobby, and decided DJ'in would be it. I have/had no experience, and thanks to research (online and speaking with DJ's), this was the controller I ended up with. This is a GREAT piece of equipment. It is easy to learn and easy to use. Now perfecting it will take some work, but with this controller, and the Serato software, I am WELL on my way. If you are interested in learning how to DJ like me, or just being the best DJ you can be, the DJRev5 Controller is for you.

I like the pioneer brand and the consistency in their products and I really wanted a 2 channel back to basics controller set up with the stems incorporated. I have found after about 40 hours of use in a couple of weeks that I chose correctly. The weight without the motorised platters of the Rev 7 works great with moving the unit around to gigs and at home. Love that the screens I. The middle of the jog wheel are very basic and all buttons and pads are responsive and work great. As a primary user of Rekordbox and owner of the DDJ-1000, I was looking to have fun with stems on Serato since Rekordbox still needs some work. Integration of both softwares into one unit is done well. Although a 2-channel mixer, it is almost as big as my DDJ-1000. The jogwheels have a vinyl face which feels nice to scratch on. Soundcard is equivalent to the DDJ-1000 although I heard the FLX-10 has a slightly better one. I do miss my joghwheel screens but like the paddle FX, dedicated stem controls, beat match transition feature and layout is easy to adapt too.
