I dont normally post reviews on things but this sub deserves it! I tried an under-seat 8 kicker hideaway first which sounded ok but no real volume or good bass response, just sounded better than factory. I wanted more thump! After not finding what I was looking for (a 12 self-powered sub) in an runder seat option, I started looking at non-under seat options. Now let me state I drive a a smaller sized SUV that is very limited on cargo space so I wanted it to be as small as possible for a single 12, and have quick disconnects for the wiring so it could easily be removed. Permanently losing cargo room in the hatch isnt an option as this is our standard grocery getter. I took a chance on this one as specs wise it looked good and checked all the boxes: 12, powered, ... If this sub checks theboxes for what you are looking for, just buy it! You wont be disappointed! Pioneer hit a home run with this one! If your looking for bigger they make the same setup with two 12 subs!

It bumps good and hard, ( I LOVE IT !! )I own 2 of them, Bought one new and bought one from offer up that was missing the quick connect for power feed/remote/ground, started looking for it pioneer part #01.44-3JSZ3-032 - if you ever need that part # 01.44-3JSZ3-032 it's over $50 for something that should be like $10- $12 dollars. I jerry rigged it with some crimp connecters for now until the price comes down for that part. 5 star for sound, 1 Star for sound, 1 Star for costly replacement part.

This single 12 fills my entire Expedition with good bass. I'm very happy with the clean look, the size, and the output.
Easy to install. Id say it is loud and powerful for what it is. Sound quality is good. Not super deep but covers all ranges well. My favorite part is it does not make my lights dim no matter hard I push it.
