We love the look of this rug, but be warned: It will shrink when you wash it. We got the 7 foot runner for our kitchen and it shrunk about 7 inches despite paying extra attention to washing and laying upside down to dry. They promptly sent us a new rug which was nice, that also, shrunk extensively when washed. We knew how much it shrunk because we purchased rug pads separately and we had to trim them 5-7 inches long and about 2-3 inches wide. That’s a considerable amount to shrink, it wasn’t slight. I have 2 other area rugs from this company that I’m afraid to wash. I probably won’t purchase again in the future.

We absolutely loved our experience shopping with the Rug Collective! One- shipping was SO FAST!! Second, it's beautiful. The only thing is there is a little bit of green discolouration throughout the cream borders so be mindful of that - it almost looks like the ink is bleeding a bit or something, but all in all that's minor in comparison how beautiful the rug is. If you zoom close up on the photos (which I didn't) you will see it there but it's not a deal-breaker by any means. Three, it was so affordable! We're very happy with our purchase!

I purchased two rugs from the rug collective. This was my first purchase and it’s beautiful. It looks lovely in my living room. It lacks the softness a traditional rug has, but that is the trade off for a “washable” option. However, I washed one of my rugs for the first time and found the process to be a bit of a pain. The rug had a very hard time fitting in my washing machine (I have a larger front load) and when It came out it was very wrinkly and the colour has run slightly onto the lighter parts of the carpet. I really wanted to love these rugs as I have 2 young kids and a big dog, but the process of washing it and finding a place for it to dry in the winter, as well as dealing with all the wrinkles is a bit of an inconvenience. This rug is gorgeous!I love the design and the fabric, and it was already tested for the spills with my kiddos and their cups of milk, and then it was amazing how easy was to clean it up.100% satisfied!
