Normally I LOVE all pixi products, but sadly this one fell a little short. I don't hate it, but it's not as moisturizing or as smooth as I would like it to be. I'm a very avid lip product person. I'm always buying them, and trying new ones, because I truly love lip products. This one I have to swipe multiple times to get the amount of moisture I want, and even then it's lacking the "my lips are moisturized" feel, and look. Overall the colored shades are really pretty on, and the color payoff is beautiful for a your lips but better look. Just wish it was more moisturizing like advertised.

The product itself is quite nice. As expected or maybe slightly better. It's fine. My issue is for the tiny amount of product you get the cost to the planet far outweighs the value of the product. Shipping is bad for the planet BUT even worse is the insane amount of plastic packaging for how much you get. I hear polar bears screaming everytime I use it. I feel so bad that I would not buy this again no matter how dry my lips.

I have chronically chapped lips and typically anything with color/tint does not work well for me. This lip balm has been so hydrating, my lips have been chap free for about a week. It is also surprisingly pigmented. I went back and bought a second shade. The only issue I have with the lip balm is the applicator. It is so wide and flat and feels awkward. Despite that, still a big fan and excited to actually wear color on my lips.

I really wanted to like this product because when I first put it on it felt nice and thick and smooth. BUT it actually burned my lips and I had black burn parts. At first I was still using it like there’s no way this product is burning my lips, but the more I used it the more my lips burned and became irritated. Today is day 4 of switching back to Tree Hut Sugarlips, and the burn part has started to peel and heal, and my lips don’t feel irritated. No more buying and trying for ME! I’ll just stick to what I know works and doesn’t Burn or Irritate my lips.
Pros:Not sticky, decent colour payoff and colour does stick around for a bit. Price point super reasonable.Cons:Dries down matte on my lips and clings to lines and dry spots. I do have sensitive lips/skin so this may work well for others, but I'm actually finding my lips dried out more than before and having to put a roche posay lip balm on underneath and then use it touch up the balm through the day as it fades unevenly.Scarlet is a nice colour but much more orange undertone than it appeared on the swatch.
I'm a medium/warm tone and my daughter is a light/fair tone. I tend to go for neutral tones and Rosette and Nectar looked natural and looks great on my daughter. I wanted a little more color. I really like Passion, Poppy and Scarlet! These are perfect in your pocket and on the go! Hydrating and a tint of color for the lips and cheeks! The clear is great for everyday and a nighttime treatment! Now my daughter's friends have them all!
I have at last found a lip balm that gives a lovely colour and moisturise the lips as well. I adore the ingredients which are plant based and does not contain any synthetics in it. And the Size of 4.8g is brilliant coz it'll last for sometime as I use it all the time. And the price is so reasonable unlike some top brands where you pay more than £30.00 for half the size. For me I use it more as a lipstick than a balm as the colour is exactly as I want and not too intense. It is great to wear for work and not look too made up. So far I have bought two colours: Peach and Passion - both are lovely on my Asian skin. Will be buying others too
I got the clear version because I needed a new lip balm and I like this a lot! Whenever I use this I don’t feel like I’m being sold a temporary solution. Most brands selling balms, especially at this price, often only work for a little bit and then my lips are parched once more. I’ve been a Burt’s Bees user for years and have been hoping to find a better alternative and I think this is it for me. I just wish it had more product. It IS a bit ridiculous for the price. See picture for the amount you will be receiving. For that I can only give it four stars.
I've got two shades: poppy and scarlet. Poppy has potential, but the pigment is barely there, even though I apply layers and layers. Scarlet, on the other hand, is REALLY pigmented and opaque. I'd call it a lipstick, which was not what I wanted. If I put it on my lips I have to dab it very carefully so I only get a hint of color. That's why I mostly use it as a blush, but only if I'm in a hurry. I'll probably give it away, though, and won't repurchase.P.S. I like the peppermint scent, because it reminds me of a bubblegum I used to buy a lot of as a kid, so it brings back memories.
Poppy is a barely rose pink tint on lips. Super sheer not bright or pigmented. Standard lip balm texture but slightly grainy which I don't like. No taste or scent. Packaging makes it look big but it's fake as its 2/3 empty. At 4.8g it's a standard skinny lip balm amount. I don't know why they wanted to waste all that plastic, make it bulky in my purse, and hard to apply. Pixi should have either given us a decent amount or made it smaller to match the contents. Not a fan of sneaky misleading packaging, shrinkflation ect.
