I use these plackers every single day! They are great because there so easy to use, you don’t have to wrap a bunch of floss around your fingers and stick your fingers in your mouth. These flossers fit perfectly in your mouth and can get to all the small spaces. I like these ones particularly because it doesn’t fray when using like some others do. It’s got a very slight minty flavor, nothing crazy, almost unnoticeable. Not only does it have the flosser side, but on the opposite side it has a tooth pick if you’d prefer to use that. I actually use the tooth pick side sometimes to unclump my mascara :) works great!

Just as good as the old ones

I have used these Plackers for several years now. I had run out and had to order more. I saw this value size bag and had to order. I did read the reviews and was surprised to see so many negative ones. People were saying these are not like the old ones.In my opinion, these are just as good as the old ones. I see no difference. These floss picks work well for me. The only problem I have is that my teeth are VERY close together. So, yes, once in a while the thread breaks. But that doesn't have anything to do with the quality of the picks. I will continue to buy these as long as they work like they always have for me.

NOT "the same great floss".

Plackers used to be my favorite floss. I have very tight teeth and these were the only floss that didn't shred when I used them. I noticed the look of the bag had changed when I went to buy a new bag, but didn't think too much of it. When I pulled a pick out of the new bag and used it, it immediately shredded and got stuck between my teeth. I pulled another one out thinking the first one was just a fluke and the same thing happened. Shredded floss between my teeth. After much frustration I finally got the broken floss out of my teeth and now I'm on a hunt for a new floss that doesn't shred. The new bag says it's the same floss with a new look, but my teeth say otherwise.

New packaging, worse product

This is wild. I can't believe that even my floss is now coming in worse quality. It's 2024. And even the floss you used to get a year ago, is now breaking apart after your third tooth. This was my favorite kind too. Now I have to find a new brand. 2 different packages as well. You know how disappointed you have to be to get on the walmart website to type a review about it?There's a picture of what the floss looks like now after a few teeth. It used to be SO strong. And the NERVE for them to put "2x STRONGER" on the package. 2x stronger than jello maybe? 2x stronger than a summer breeze?

Shreds like crazy

Something happened to Plackers because the quality seems to have gone down considerably. The most recent micromint 150 pack we bought has been shredding like crazy. The actual flossing string looks a little lumpy and with little fibers untwisted and sticking out. The fibers separate and get stuck between teeth. That or they just break apart. The reason for 2 stars is that they've been good in the past. Maybe it's just this lot (2109C on the bag). It kind of sucks because we bought 3 packs at 150 each. :'/ Have to find new flossers.

Terrible quality. Falls apart.

I don’t know if I just got a bad batch or what but after flossing between two teeth these flossers fall apart completely. The floss gets stuck between the teeth and they are terrible. I got them before but they have made them so cheep without caring about quality. The strings left in the mouth are worse than before flossing. I have to use a new floss between every tooth because they just fall apart. Not worth the money. Terrible product. Never buying from plackers again.

Very Poor Quality

This has got to be the absolute worst version of this type of product that I have ever encountered. Not only is the floss flimsy, but the toothpick part is totally and completely worthless. The floss shreds after one swipe between teeth, and the toothpick part is so soft and poorly made, that it bends as soon as it makes contact with teeth. ...And I don't know who advised this manufacturer to implement the little 'tuck-away toothpick,' but whomever it was needs to be fired. The toothpick part is 'tucked' into the handle and needs to be 'propped up' to an erect position, but once you have it in its 'pop-up position - there is nothing to hold it in place, which is another opportunity for the sorry little toothpick to bend in yet another spot. Yikes! What happened?

This used to be my go-to for years! The new design features an extremely thin floss. When compared to the previous design, it’s clear that the new floss is less than half the thickness of the original. It’s now so thin that some of the floss picks arrive broken in the bag just from contact with each other. This is a really disappointing change to what was once a great product. Unfortunately, we'll need to find another brand. It's a shame it had to come to this—I’d rather pay more for the original product than settle for this lower-quality substitute.
