I used to avoid cables with molded ends, but I haven't had a peep of trouble out of either of the cables. Plus, if you're playing live and move around onstage, you'll REALLY appreciate a cable flexible enough to stay out of your way.I REALLY like this cable! I had bought a much more expensive cable, "scientifically designed for bass guitar, etc.", It was nice, BUT it was a real pain onstage. Not flexible at all! It would lie under your feet in big ropy coils. Despite its high price, it started losing connection - oddly, only on amps with COSM modeling. There's probably a scientific explanation, but there weren't any scientists around and I needed to finish the gig, so I grabbed my spare, which happened to be the 20 foot version of this cable. So I ordered a shorter one, and never looked back!I've used the long one as a backup for several years. Used it many times when other people's cables failed, or to hook up a powered cabinet now and then. Never a peep of trouble. I like the little grippers on the shaft - they seem to help make a very positive connection. It cost less than a fourth of what my fancy cable cost, works just as well, and stays nice and flat on the floor when I'm playing.

I've been a playing professionally for over 40 years, and have never had this happen before. Finished a set, got up to the next set and NOTHING coming out of my guitar! When a cable goes bad, it goes bad at the connections, but not THIS ONE! Started checking all my equipment because there was NO INDICATION of a short in my cable, or any other cable. After checking everything else, I just replaced it, and my guitar was back! Now, maybe you think I should have just replaced it BEFORE PANICKING, and checking all my other stuff, but my equipment is ALL kept in perfect working condition, and cables are checked regularly. If a cable is suspect, it's replaced. But like I said, I've NEVER seen a cable just DIE like that!! Being that the very first negative review I read was someone who had the EXACT SAME THING happen to his cable, tells me that there were probably others, and that their QC people need to be FIRED!!! PS: You need an option for NO STARS!!

These are very good especially for home, studio or rehearsal type applications. A plus is the rightangle plug fits a standard Telecaster jack plug fine. Probably not as durable for the hard use typeapplications. I like the flexibility of the cable itself. I have used these for years in the 10 and 20foot lengths.

I needed a guitar cord and didn't feel like fighting traffic so I enlisted the aid of Ebay. I looked at several sites that sold guitar cords and settled on this one because of the free shipping. The cord works as described. It's doesn't appear to be any more cheaply made than the $30.00 guitar cord I have from Planet Waves. Worth the price if you don't plan on stepping on it or rolling over it with your office chair.
I use these everywhere. D'Addario must have had a bad batch when they first started but I've bought 30+ and I've not had a problem with 1. Great cables. I use D'Addario in all my studio connections. Great company, Great cables.
These are GREAT instrument cables. I just bought two more. The oldest one I have is at least 10 years old, and still hasn't failed. I like them because they get the job done and are very flexible. They lie flat on the stage, something I really appreciate after using some fancier, heavier cables that I was always tripping over.
I kept having trouble with signal transfer from my pedal to my amp. It was on and, off sometimes it would work and, then not at all. After a couple times with this I said enough you're gone! I went to better ends and, a better cable, solved the problem. Dadario makes good stuff they just to need to get rid of this cheap junk. Spend a little more on your cables it's well worth it in the long run.
I have a Grover Jackson USA made Concorde Flying V. They have an input jack located in between the wings, making it impractical to use a standard strait tip cord. Most angled cords have the angle very close to the end of the plug, which doesn't work on the recessed jack on my guitar. These D'Addario cords have about 1/4" of room behind the plug and before the 90* angle, making it ideal for my application.I just started using the cord, so I'm not sure about longevity. It doesn't seem to sound any different than my other cords. If you need an angled cord for a recessed jack, this is your best bet.
Some instrument cables continually come unscrewed; with the rubber wrap around each business end fitting, it will never happen to this cable. The soft flexibility of the cable and wrap makes it easy to roll up to store, and roll out for playing my guitars.
I showed someone how to not care for a cord by intentionally bending and pulling on this cord like it was a rope, and it wouldn't short-out or break, until I treated it worse than it would ever be treated [other then using it as a tow-rope to pull a truck] to prove a point on how to pack-up gear caringly. I looked like a crazy person trying to make that cord short-out & break. The 9 yr. old student is now stopping me from winding up any more cords! I bought another one. Great price. My friend needed these some years ago when he had a box of guitar cords needing repairs in a band we played together in.
