It’s 17 inches tall. Not 14. I should have check Planos website. Academy has it wrong. Doesn’t fit where I need it to... but I do like the box a lot. So disappointed. Everywhere I’ve been only has the 3500 or the 3700. So I went on this giant quest to locate the person tackle box for my skiff. I liked the 4 rack boxes and figured there was a 3600. They were sold out across the internet. Looks like I bought the last one as they are sold out here now. My measurement was 15 inches tall in my storage so I thought I struck gold.I want to give it less stars for the size difference but I’m not. Not the products fault. It’s a great product. I don’t want to return it.

I bought this about 2 weeks ago because I'm starting to get into a Tabletop game called Star Wars: Armada, and with how small some of the pieces are, I wanted a good way to protect and tote the game out of it's original packaging. The Core set fit perfectly in just two cases and the huge top storage works for the Imperial ships and movement rulers. The ability to compartmentalize has really helped keep all the core pieces, Imperial, and Rebel ships to just about one box each, and with Still more room to expand. You will be surprised with how much storage you have in this kit for the size. There is a good chance you won't need to upgrade from this. For long time I was struggling at work with managing all my electronics components and related tools. Not anymore! With this product and its sister models, I am finally able to turn chaos into order. 4 handy compartments let me decide a theme for every layer, one can be for example regular components, second for cable making stuff and third one for programmers and debuggers. The bulk storage on top is also a very welcome addition. Compartments are Plano 3650 compartments, but the slots seem to fit also other Plano 36xx-series boxes. Neat. Simply 5/5 product!

I love this tackle box. It's perfect for organizing all my sewing stuff - much better than traditional sewing baskets. It's outlasted my sewing machines! Getting a second one for all my tools and hardware.
I have 6 of these MAGIC PLANOS, They are the most handy and high quality no nonsense tackle boxes you can buy.Ive got mine sorted for different situation1 for Trout Lakes1 for Trout Rivers1 for lakes were there are both Native and mixed species of fish1 for Saltwater Troling1 for lake bait fishing1 for sea baitfishingI just pick the one up that I need and im set no need for fumbleing around, and they are cheap enough that its reasonable affordable to have a few of these little beauties, also the double as a seat " depending on your girth of course as if you are a big fella you may need 2 boxes!"
Nice box with plenty of storage for tackle. Mid size, not too big and not too heavy. This box makes it easy to find the lure, hook, weight, or other item. Each of the four trays have adjustable dividers to create the space you want for the tackle. Top section is deep enough for a few jars of eggs, pliers, clippers and other handy items.
I'm using this to store cake decorating supplies, and I love it. Room for frosting tips, pastry bags, stencils, food coloring, luster dust, so many things.
Perfect size for boat. Holds my most used offshore gear. Could definitely go bigger to include all my gear but that would sacrifice the compact design.
Just the right size. Huge compartment at the top for knives, pliers, fishing line and bulky items etc. Lower compartment has 4 clip boxes that are super easy to open and close holding all separated items eg: hooks or various sizes, swivels, snap swivels, sinkers, plastics etc. Overall a nice sturdy fishing box that is not oversize but not too small at the same time.
I've had many different tackle boxes in my lifetime and by far, this is the best one I have ever bought. Very functional for any kind of fishing. I especially like the room on the top. I had even tipped mine over inside my boat and all my hooks and tackle stayed in one place. Also I like the fact that I can change the boxes out if I want to. I also think the price is a fair price to pay for it. PLANO, it looks as though you have a winner here with the 3600 series.
