Poor Design, sits on top of both grills therefor takes ages to heat up all surfaces. And can’t use grill at same time. Needs to be a replacement for one grill plate instead.

The plate is way too thick, it takes 20 minutes with the Baby Q going flat out to get it hot! Then there's the holes in the corners that let the egg whites run to the bottom of the Baby Q.All together, a rather disappointing purchase, ahh well, it has been put into the "never to be remembered" draw, these hot plates are a dismal failure. You'd be better off converting your Q1000 to the Q1200 which has the separate halves of the grill that you can replace. (It's the only difference between the two apart from the stupid battery ignition on the 1200)

Works as intended. Covers about half the size of the baby Q also takes a bit of the direct heat out of it so it’s great for cooking salmon or eggs. Very happy. Just can be a little small for larger cook ups.

Pros: Solid, good quality cast iron. I'm guessing that's what it's made out if. Easy to clean and cooks eggs nicely.Cons: A bit small. I should have got the half-sized hot plate. That makes more sense. Mind you, I'm a bit addicted to this little Weber and will probably get all the accessories.
Unfortunately, I had different expectations that this was a plate that covered the entire grill. This is probably a third of the size.Usable and a great heat conductor nonetheless, just the unexpected size.
Purchased this online. The shape suggested it was a single plate that would replace thre grills to do a breakfast fry up on the baby q. No… it is tiny. Enough for a couple of eggs if you’re lucky. I am actually not sure what this is even meant for.
This plate is really to small to be useful and also it has holes in the each of the 4 corners. The plate is "domed" (a bit higher in the middle) and when I put an egg on the plate to fry it simply ran straight to the nearest hole and disappeared into the BBQ griller below! Its a stupidly small size and could only fry one egg and half a strip of bacon at best. Waste of money from my perspective.
Plate is small and would be lucky to be able to fit 2 fried eggs at the same time. The photo on the box is an exaggeration of the size as there is no way the sausages, corn, bacon and tomatoes would fit on the plate along with the eggs. We took it back and got a refund.
The plate is as it is described. I find it a little small for our requirements. Unfortunately for Webber their products are ofsuch high quality this small thing stands out. quality of product and function is awesome.
Please be mindful this is only one plate and it is very small, about half the size I thought it was going to be. Given there was nothing on display and it says on the box flat surface and grated surface it’s very deceiving.Fits about 2 eggs that’s all.
