The Procyon combines some great features in one understated pen. From the outside, it's a fairly minimalist design, but with some striking finishes. The Turquoise Blue finish is an unusual colour - blue with a hint of green. Bright, yet somehow still a fairly pastel shade, with a subtle matt texture.The nib is a new Platinum design, with a pentagonal profile, which they say gives it flex, for more responsive writing. There's only a small amount of line variation, but it does have a little springiness to it, which many people love.The feed is a new design, too, which will be a big help to those who use bottled ink with an optional converter. There's an inlet underneath the feed, for allowing air in when using the pen, and for the ink to enter when filling. The result is that you don't need to dip the whole nib and feed into the ink to fill it, as long as that hole reaches the ink. Platinum demonstrate it picking up the ink from a tilted bottle right down to the last drop.
