I buy this product to upgrade and replace existing lines as well as assisting family in setting up their fishing equipment. Preferred against braid only because of young children using the gear. Have found the line to be durable in a variety of conditions

This mono has it all, so they say. So I tested it - unscientifically. It stretches a fraction (maybe less than a third) of some standard 9kg mono I had lying around. I spooled more of this in 9kg onto my reel than I had of the 6kg mono I had on there before. It cats heaps further than the 6kg mono previously on the reel. I'm guessing but I'd say a good 25-30% (in windless conditions). As to feel, its hard to say. I was getting hammered by chopper Tailor and they are hardly timid biters, but the outfit did feel a little less 'dead' in its action. Overall? I love this stuff for beach and rock.
