I have used the 8lb super 100 for a long time and the latest spool off 300m is not up to scratch. When tying knots it stresses and damages any line that runs through the knot. I've also had 2 breaks on the line under minimal load.

Am old school & prefer mono line, BCF staff recommended Super-100 & it didn’t let me down. For mono it’s thin, doesn’t twist & good to cast. Caught 6 good sized bream first use. Good price too.

I bought the 6lb strength, although very good mine, it can be prone to kinking depending on the knot you choose.So for that reason and based on the thin diameter I would recommend the 8lb strength over the 6lb. You won’t notice a difference in performance, but may eliminate line kinks

I have been using Yo-suri 4lb line for years. I am fortunate that I am able to trout fish almost every day. I didn't think any line would be as good. UNTIL I tried this Platypus Super Braid. WOW! cast further, less memory, super strong, something that changed this fisherman's mind first time I used it. Fantastic Braided Line. Would recommend it to everyone.
Platypus have a great selection of mono types for all purposes, I find the Super 100 strength and diameter great for finesse work.
I've been using this line (and others in the range) for years- excellent abrasin resistance and easy to use.
I have replaced most of my reels that have mono line with Super-100. It is the best I have used in terms if thinness quality and strength. It has proven to give me confidence when bringing up a decent size fish even on 10lb or 12lb line. You can be sure it will punch above its weight when reeling in that good size fish. I have recently spooled my 6000D Baitrunner with 20lb Super-100 and am sure it will easily bring up my target fish of large Moreton Bay reef fish. Haven't had a chance to test as boat fishing weather has been poor. I will eventually replace my remaining reels spooled with mono with Super-100. Highly recommend this product.
Thin mono so I am told it is very good and last time I was out deep, I was using braid on an egg beater and old mate had mono on overhead. He caught more fish than I did, so I blaming the braid over the skill .., hahaha
Very strong and reliable mono line. Only just getting into the fishing scene and the boys at Glendale BCF recommended i start with thia before moving up to mono. Great price and fantastic quality
Dunno why everyone rates on about this mono it's busted on me so many times. Tried mixing up my nots and adding extra loops etc but even some of the boy who've fished fo years agreed theve never seen line come undone at the swivel more than platypus. Switched to Berkeley and now im laughing!
