We have Sony interactive entertainment, PlayStation 4 at our home, and we love it. The performance is amazing. The features are really cool. We love the graphics. The graphics are so good and all of the games look really real you get a good value for your money because you can also play Blu-ray discs and DVDs from this PlayStation four so that’s another great value added to the game system. It has a really slick design that is easy to pack inside of a bag or even a laptop bag and carry along with you. You can easily hook it up to any Wi-Fi you have the password to if you’d like to hook the game system up anywhere else besides your home. I highly recommend this game system for adult, gamers and children as well. The PlayStation 3 was the very first console I ever bought for myself. I bought it for my birthday. At the time it was part of a Call of Duty bundle at Walmart. I absolutely loved it! It was definitely waaaaaay better compared to the PlayStation 2. The graphics were soooo much better than the PS2. The controller no longer had to be plugged into the console and the system seemed faster. I loved that the games would have updates to them to fix issues and even updates to the console itself. I no longer needed to buy a memory card to save my progress on games. You still had to download games to the console even if you had the disc, just like on the PS4 and PS5. I was so excited to hook it up and play that once I got home from work I did just that. The best part is I am a single mom to a now 11 year old son, who at that time was 5. So selfishly, he was 5, I let him watch (don't judge me people) 😂🤣.. Instantaneously I was hooked. This was a big jump up from the PS3, graphics were better, processor was better. Oh, and my best friend was not the type to go 'small' with anything, so of course he bought me the one with the most storage. I loved the controller interaction with the different games. Fast forward to today, being that my son is 11, it is not in his room, I have since became sick over the past 5 years with some serious chronic illnesses and my son is now a very big gamer. Not going to lie, I owe my son's gamer qualities to my best friend bc he is definitely the one that got him started. We have the PlayStation plus membership, as well as an external hard drive and 5 years of having the console, I have had zero issues. I do want the PS5, but I am having a hard time parting with my PS4 for obvious reasons, plus being on disability I cannot afford the PS5 at the moment. But honestly, there is no need. My PS4 like I said, is working great, but I am a nerd and love new tech so FOMO in general I think contributes to me wanting to get the PS5. But my system hasn't overheated, I've had no issues with the console, hooking up headsets, playing games both physical and downloaded. Bottom line, after an extremely long review, this console definitely deserves a 5 out of 5. If anyone is on the fence and not sure which to get, get the PS4!!

At least it turns on

When receiving my refurbished ps4 , plugging it in showed me how refurbished this item was not. I had to download the software myself on a flash drive from the PlayStation website, to then transfer it to the system. When I finally got that done 3 days later due to work, the system finally turned on with another issue, which was a corrupt database. Looking up troubleshooting, a simple restart was the solution. Now to only realize after the first play of a game I already bought previous to this system …, the system files are still corrupt. As I let it restart itself, it continues to be corrupt. This system is it fixed at all , and nowhere near refurbished , if I have to let the system constantly restart to never even get to play a game. Not thrilled

I don’t know how the actual system works yet, it’s a gift for my husband’s birthday which is Friday…BUT, I ordered the bundle with the console, Spiderman game, controller and headset. When I received it I had an NBA game instead of the Spiderman and there is no headset. After I realized the errors I went back and read the description and noticed that it said any ordered items that were out of stock would be replaced with an item of equal or greater value… but I would have like to have had a say in what those items were. With WM Delivery they let you know if an item has to be substituted and you can either approve or deny it. [Rewarded Review] Dangerous and sharp

My reveiw is based simply on the design of the ps4. Its a game console with super sharp edges and its heavy too. I get the a game console is gonna be heavy but the thing stands upright i cant helo but feel expecially when children are playing that its an accident waiting to happen. My 9 year old son recently was gofted a playstation 4 for his birthday and he has had it a total of 2 weeks and today this accident happend. He was trying to plug the hdmi cord into the vack since he alternates between his favored xbox and his new ps4. When the the Ps4 fell and yhe sharp side landed on his thigh right above the knee. Instantly a bruise started to form and some of the skin was rubbed open abraided like. I took pics obviously. Why are these designed this way? I understand having them stand tall would maje it eaiser to vent excess heat instead of letting it build up but these edges are sharp! I was in the room when this happend he wasnt doing anything wrong but trying to pull the hdmi cord out of the ps4 to put into the xbox. I joked around with him trying to get a smile said that maybe the ps4 heard him saying that the xbox was a superior gaming console. But his response was only that he had taken it back after playing his first game.
