The PS5 got to me in great working condition and with in a few days of me ordering it from JB HI-FI online.My PS4 and PS3 that I purchased from JB HI-FI many years ago are still in great working condition, I will still use them, along with this new PS5 hopefully for many years to come.The PS5 was very easy to set up, you don't need the Internet to install disk games and play them.DVDs and PS4 games work well on the PS5.

This console is one of the best on the market right now (PS3 is another great option if you plan on modding it) in terms of quality of games and performance. I was blown away at how cheap you can get AAA games that are used and at how little effort this beast puts into beautiful 60 frames gameplay. PS Plus is overpriced but it is required for online play, and personally I would only pay for the cheapest tier

Had one previously that gained a power issue but the warranty process was simple and pretty fast. Love this machine is sleek and stands up on the base, takes up less room.The game play is good and the graphics do wonders for this new breed of games
Premium quality and a premium price. The new platform is definitely a step up from PS4, and much quieter too! The controller is great and intuitive, especially for a PlayStation regular.My only con is the lack of “Next Gen” exclusive games. The PS5 released 3 years ago now, and games are still being released for new and old consoles. With only two months of ownership, the lack of games available is already noticeable.When comparing to the Xbox series x, I personally agree with most reviews out there, PS5 is the best option for premium quality craftsmanship and quality over quantity games (exclusive titles, at this stage in the lifespan).
The Playstation 5 is very good. One of few things annoying is not being able to play Playstation 3 games natively on the console or using premium playstation plus in Australia even though I have good enough internet. And not having Wallpapers/backgrounds yet or good folder's like the Playstation 4 but overall the Playstation 5 is good.
PS5 is an amazing evolution of the PS4. EVERY aspect of the console is that much better. On the PS4, Fornite loading used to take minutes. I could actually go make a cup of tea and on return it was still plugging away. PS5, takes around 12 seconds. Decent increase right!The graphics quality is a number of steps above the 4 and its blazingly fast at rendering. Even playing a PS4 game on the 5, I'm shocked at how much better it looks.The hand controller is heavier but it's haptics are streets ahead of the PS4. Its much more engaging and it sounds strange, however, the L2 and R2 have so much better feel and feedback than previous.As i said, EVERYTHING is levels ahead. It's early days but a few observations:1. Set up and data transfer from my PS4 was very easy, though did take a while. Comparitively, when I did a data transfer from PS4 to PS4 all my save data was wiped, so very pleased that wasn't the case this time.2. It had some system bugs VERY early. In the middle of gameplay my controller started drifting and wouldn't respond to any button or joystick movement, then the whole console shut down without warning. This happened twice but ceased after I cleared the cache and rebooted the system through the settings menu.3. Following the previous bug, my console seems to think it's always being forcefully shut down. I always thought the PS4 rendered beautifully, but this is truly something else. Even the startup screen is gorgeous! Game and media library is easy to navigate, though I do wish it was a little easier to pull up the full navigation or to shut the console down from the user profile menu. I wasn't a fan of the physical design at first, but even I have to admit it looks pretty good out of the box. Controller fits into the hand well, though the Options/Settings buttons are a little small for me (context: I'm a girly girl with long nails). If I wasn't experiencing those 2 major system bugs it would have 5 stars.
Purchased with discounted e-gift cards, it was such a decent sale. Heard there will be new PS5 Slim model released. Still pretty happy with this purchase, very powerful, totally obsessed with God of War lol
The PS5 is a powerful console offering a sublime current-gen gaming experience. Its library of exclusive games makes fantastic use of the DualSense controller, 3D Audio, and the console's lightning-fast SSD. It might be too big for some setups, though, and a handful of issues hold it back from perfection.
