Playstation Hits The Last of US Remastered - PS4

I've played so many games over the last 26 years, and this one is it. My favorite. Incredible story; emotional at times (even us desensitized ones got caught up), funny at others, and terrifying really kinda... Well... All the time lmao. The world they built for this game is what I imagine it being if this were a real event, it's absolutely beautiful seeing earth reclaim it's land after so long. They did great job with it. Love the "zombies" (some folk get very passionate that these are not zombies but they are to me 😻) and how they transform. I've played this game through several times, and every time was just as fun as the first. Except for that basement. If you know, you know.

I played this game for the very first time at around christmas 2 years ago! And since then it has been my favorite game ever! The story is fantastic the gameplay is amazing. The graphics are great! Also keep in mind this game is from 2013! I have nothing bad to say about this game! I love it and can only recommend it! On other terms ... the sequel is horrible! I hate the story i hate what they did with the characters! Yes the graphics are absolutely amazing but the game itself is a disrespect to the fans from the first one, the gameplay were told to be absolutely game changing but from what i saw from actual gameplays there isnt much that makes it different from other games with actual good stories! Spoiler free! Despite this being nearly 10 years old it’s still one of the best quality games I’ve seen and really ahead of its time. In my opinion it’s not really made to be a pure scary game there are jump scares and intense moments which make it fun but it’s definitely catered towards the story line of the character and the pure talent on the stunning scenery. You can chose your difficulty and on medium difficulty it’s good to play but not too easy at the same time. The combat is good a lot of stealth and some full on shoot outs, many weapons and the looting is fun. They explain back stories on the different types of “zombies”. The story line is what really makes it for me, the voice actors are perfect for the roles and with the animation it feels so real, like you’re watching a movie. It’s so well written you get attached to the characters and really invested. I’ve never met anyone who hasn’t enjoyed this game! I will forever replay this game as I’ve never had this love for one.

I’ll never forget the first time I played this game. I bought it on sale for 14.99, I watched a trailer before I bought it and was immediately eager to play this game. This game is truly an emotional roller coaster. You immediately become attached to the characters, the storyline and the character development is some of the best I have seen in a video game, naughty dog truly went above and beyond on creating this game. You will laugh, become frustrated and possibly even cry. That’s how amazing the storyline of this game is. The mechanics graphics are simply amazing. There’s beautiful scenery it really from start to finish keeps you hooked. The dialogue is even better. There’s a perfect amount of action each mission is enjoyable. I believe I am one of the few people on earth that didn’t enjoy this game - I actually found it incredibly boring to play and I was only pushing myself to play it because I got it for free through PSPlus. The story between Joel and Ellie didn’t interest me much, the characters were very bland and I could already guess the final plot twist halfway through the game. The enemies were interesting, but also very irritating and far too difficult to get rid of. Even on the easiest difficulty setting, I found myself dying with every enemy encounter and I never had enough supplies to get by, despite searching every nook and cranny for what I needed. Best game I’ve ever played

The campaign... the story TLOU tells us is something so touching that it will have you experiencing every God given emotion you can possibly think of from beginning to the end. The DLC included is a amazing side story with the same emotional dynamics as the main story packed all in a short extension of the campaign. “Factions” The on-line portion of this game is the best competitive multiplayer I have ever played. I know I’m just your average consumer but understandably take my words serious when I say ”the shooting and fighting mechanics/gameplay is the most fluid and smooth (bottom line the best) gameplay I have ever experienced”. When you play this game it will feel like a breath of fresh air in reference to all the new experiences you are about to embrace. Thankfully, we as gamers are blessed with a part 2 being released very soon. Do not make the mistake of never trying this game because of whatever excuses/biases you may have. I bought a PS4 in 2015 and this game was apart of the bundle as a digital copy and at the time I never heard of this title before. Now, as you can see this game means so much to me that I had to own a physical copy to remind myself of all the joy a video game can bring and simply have this in my collection with me forever. Pick up this game.... You’ll thank me later!

Best of the two

I played this game back on PlayStation 3 and WOW!!! I have never thought or imagined a game could be more than just a game. This should definitely go in the history books of greatest game of all time as it still got everyone talking about it. The game has everything you could possibly imagine the incredible story filled with emotions and chills as you progress fighting and surviving your way makes it even more amazing that it isn't just another shooter or fighter game but it is a game that every move you make has a ripple effect. Joel and Ellie at first were 2 characters so different from each other but that blend together nailed it! The graphics on PS3 was the best and absolutely breathtaking of what the console could achieve in its time for the game but switch to PS4 and you will really see the amount of detail and stunning power of the current console has to offer for this game which already has been already the best on PS3. The game is a real survival game where nothing is just as simple and rationing is key to your survival and also when to use certain weapons for certain enemies made it more exciting as the decision rests on you. The fights are incredibly the best! From being able to use almost anything you can get your hands on whether it's bricks, steel pipes or good old gun fire power you always have a smile on your face after it. What I can say you can't enjoy the Part 2 without getting to experience Part 1 and form the bond with Joel and Ellie and Part 2 has got everyone on edge waiting for it. Naughty Dog has made an amazing game Thank you! and I don't think another one is yet to top this game by far!

Definitely worth a play through.

I really enjoyed playing it. I'm not a "gamer", but I've played a fair few pretty often. It was a good story line, and the graphics were pretty awesome. Several of the places in the game had expansive views that were pretty breathtaking. I never played the original so can't say if they were a huge improvement from that or not. I liked that at a couple points it changed player viewpoint between the two main characters. I felt like it really made the storyline more rounded, made them seem human, and helped you get invested in them. The game mechanics were smooth and easy to adjust to, and the weapons easy to switch between. Though the assault rifle near the end was pretty darn useless and I didn't see the point of adding it into the game. I did get frustrated at a few ... MoreI really enjoyed playing it. I did get frustrated at a few points due to the "stealth" focused area's (purely because I SUCK at them and died a lot, but they probably weren't that difficult realistically). Also I HATE having to leave supplies behind and had to do that pretty often because I was full up (my brother tells me it was because I played on Easy and the game was being nice. And that I should try the Hard setting so he can laugh at me....). It was plenty of excitement and scares. It kept my attention and wasn't boring. I'm looking forward to playing Part 2.

Although this game released in 2013 & remastered in 2p14 it doesn’t feel outdated or underwhelming. Gameplay is smooth, satisfying & interesting. Weapons feel powerful, stealth sections are interesting & dynamic. Physical altercations are dangerous if unprepared & infected pose their own unique threats & require different approaches. Story is excellent, with interesting characters, multiple plots executed perfectly & great level designs leaves every minute of the game unique. Incredibly immersive & unsettling, no matter how many times I play through the game I don’t get bored or feel completely safe. Conclusion: I’d consider this game a 10/10. A masterpiece. Immersive world with interesting & flawlessly written characters makes you feel as if you are in an apocalyptic world. Incredibly smooth and satisfying hand to hand combat & gunplay will make you want to replay it, and you’ll enjoy replaying it just as much as your first time engrossing yourself in to this gorgeous world.

The PS3's swan song is even better on PS4.

The PS4 Pro has the added options of either running the game at 1800P with the same level of detail, or 1080P with sharper shadows and fewer framerate drops. No matter what resolution you select, you also have the option to cap the framerate to 30FPS. A minor change you aren't likely to notice, but it's there. Aside from the above, the game is the same as it was before. You'll still be sneaking around, scrounging for items, and getting into fights with human or infected enemies. The game can be quite stingy with ammo, so you're encouraged to avoid direct conflict as much as possible to conserve resources. As you progress, you'll find new weapons and craftable items which will increase the number of ways you can handle certain problems, but only slightly. The gameplay is still just as linear as it was on PS3, and has aged poorly in some respects, but the story has aged very little by comparison. This alone makes it worth playing through at least once.
