Playstation Link USB Adapter

Works as expected. Identical to the PlayStation Link dongle that came with my Pulse Elite headset. Now I can switch more easily between PS5 and PC without having to move the dongle around between the two. It's not completely seamless, though. After pairing both dongles, to switch it to PS5 I have to press and hold the power button on the headset, then follow the on-screen prompt to press the PS button on my controller and connect the headset. To switch to PC I have to press the dongle button once the headset is on. But still preferable to the experience of sharing one dongle between two systems.

Do NOT buy to connect PS5 controllers to PC!!!

I bought this expecting to have a plug and play experience connecting my PS5 controller to my PC in preparation for Ghost of Tsushima. Upon further investigation, I see that it's advertised use was focusing the 3d Pulse Headsets as an upgraded connection to PS5 or "link" to PC.I understand that this was pretty clear when you look at the setup instructions, but I found it odd that Xbox dongles are compatible with almost any device that can connect to the console, and they are plug and play. Finally! Useful addition

Incredibly annoying to swap the single back and forth between pc and ps5. Keep in mind these only work with the pulse explore buds and pulse elite headset. It won’t work with any other devices. I see some bad reviews about trying to use Bluetooth with it but that’s not what this is for nor does it say that anywhere in the literature. This is a second dongle for you already existing pulse headset that utilizes Sony link tech.

Great for its purpose

Great for connecting to a pc. I use this with PS Link ear pods. I can connect quickly between different PS and PC platforms. I connect to work laptop and my phone for music and calls on both. Does not connect to 3R pulse because its not made for that. It works fine for its purpose. Connects faster than other similar items. I am buying a second one.

Great.. But BE AWARE!

The Playstation Link USB is a great backup incase people want a backup incase they loose thier original Playstion Link USB. BE AWARE THOUGH, the Playstation Link USB is NOT compatible with the original Pulse 3D Headset. It only works for the brand new Elite Headset and Earbuds only. I personally have NOT seen any mention of this on the internet, so for new buyer's, BE AWARE. For those who want to get a replacement for thier Elite Headset or Ear Buds, by all means go for the purchase. It pairs perfectly and works great too.

Review of PLAYSTATION Link USB adapter

After several attempts and discussions with Sony tech support, I can confirm this device is only compatible with the Pulse 3D elite and not the Pulse 3D.The product seems okay, a little cheap feeling but does connect okay when plugged into the PS5, just unable to connect to the original version of the Pulse 3D headphones which makes it unfit for my particular application.Hope this helps others not make the mistake I did.

Simple but Overpriced

The USB makes it easy to connect certain PlayStation devices and promises to improve in connectivity. If you have more than 1 device, like multiple PS5, a pc, etc, by clicking on the USB you can move from 1 to another easily. My judgement comes at the price of $25 which is a lot. The new Pulse Elites come with one and one is enough.

Slow start BUT works good now.

Bought this to have an adapter for my PC without having to keep moving my primary off my PS5.Initial setup didn't work to well after troubleshooting this works perfectly. Assuming I just got a defective one. BUT now is working perfectly. easily switch between my main adapter and this one.

Thankfully it’s not that expensive.

I bought this for my pulse elite headset. The headset came with one. However I wanted a second dongle for my work computer station so I could switch from ps5 to work computer. It’s not as easy as Sony/PlayStation makes it out to be. It didn’t work like like they made it out to be. It’s either defective or the headset. Regardless it was a waste of money. I’ll just hold onto it incase the original adapter dongle needs replaced.

Very good condition

It was in very good condition, came in a box with the instructions although it wasn't presented fancy in the box. My only issue was the fact that the description was misleading, it does not work will all bluetooth headphones, only sony ones. Mistake on my part, but wish it was explained better for newbies to this part of console. It did indeed work though!
