I got this PlayStation VR for family game nights with my family. Starting off with the headset itself. It is actually quite comfortable. There are quite a few cords tho that make it a little more difficult to set up but as a PlayStation lover to heart I tend to look past it. There are so many games you can download for this. That range from horror to carnival. My families personal favorite is dreams which allows you to create your own games. This is a good buy if you are a game driven family. As well as if you wanna get a group together and drink and play. I would definitely recommend this for sure!

Bought PlayStation VR2 for my sons birthday and he absolutely loves it. Amazing technology and relatively simple to set up, the graphics are epic! Only tried the one game so far (Star Wars) but really impressed so far and can’t wait to try some others. The PlayStation VR2 is not backwards compatible (can’t use PlayStation VR games with it) it can only be used with the new VR2 games (they say quite clearly on the game they are VR2) Really want to have a go on Resident evil with the VR so that may be the next purchase but defo not for my son! Only warning would be if you have any vertigo type issues, this device could potentially trigger it. This is sooo cool expensive but worth every penny I like the game that you are In galaxy/ space and you come across a rabbit ( I think it’s a demo disc ) and you stroke it -half expecting it to show it’s teeth at you in any given time or do something bad but was calm and relaxing actually…. Or a ghost to pop up at some point I wouldn’t recommend it for children under 12 as it’s 3 d and can hurt eyes and make them zoned out but for adults yes it’s ace graphics great (it’s Sony so has to be great ) …I’m waiting for a proper horse riding game and or a horse racing / show jumping / cross country / any thing to do with horses but adult version than a children’s game like pippa funnel series or barbie horse my little pony game . Quite easy to use and get use to but do need space to play it in .. can get uncomfortable on eyes and head gear but they do recommend regular breaks in between but I can forget to do that and then complain to myself what I did wrong … if you got a PlayStation 4 or 5 then must buy it …. What’s next for Sony ?

The Sony PlayStation VR has its moments, but I can't overlook its drawbacks. The setup is cumbersome, requiring too many cables and components. The visual quality is decent, but not groundbreaking, and the limited game library left me wanting more variety. Additionally, the comfort of the headset could be improved for extended use. Overall, it falls short of expectations for a 2-star rating.

Sony Playstation VR is an incredible experience! After spending a little time setting this up, we are amazed with how real this is. This takes you into a different world. You literally feel like you are in action. You use your whole body to experience the games. Your arms and hands interact along with stepping in different directions. I've literally been scared in some games.

Very misleading
25 December 2023

This set doesn’t include the motion controllers not hardware to hook up to a Ps5. I noticed that the price and details were updated recently to reflect. It was $100 cheaper closer to Christmas because of the faulty misleading titles. It does not include everything to work properly. I don’t suggest buying from this company they charge close to the full retail price but you’re not receiving all the parts. So technically it would have been more efficient to just buy new.

[Rewarded Review] Buy if you REALLY want to play VR
20 May 2023

If you want to play VR games, but dont know where to start? This makes a pretty good choice for those curious players. One gripe is that there is a lot of clutter so if youre looking for a clean setup with little to no wires, this is going to bug you. Luckily though this did come with an adapter for the PS5 so maybe thats why it has so many wires, Im not sure.I only really recommend it if you TRULY want to get into VR. If you think it looks like fun and want to try it, I would suggest not spending the money because you might just get bored after a couple months or maybe even weeks mainly due to the niche it has kinda dies down after awhile and the whole "VR" feeling gets old.One big plus though is having family members play a Horror game and see them scared ... MoreIf you want to play VR games, but dont know where to start? That does stay funny no matter how many times I see it.

The visuals are crisp and clear, contributing to the overall immersion. The headset is also comfortable to wear, even for extended periods of gameplay. I was pleased with its adjustment features, allowing it to fit securely and comfortably. The two PlayStation Move motion controllers that come with the bundle perfectly complement the VR experience. They track movements accurately, providing a high degree of control and immersion, particularly when you're flying or engaging in combat as Iron Man.The bundle also comes with a PS Camera, which did an impressive job of tracking my movements and translating them into the game with minimal lag. The setup process was straightforward, and the included instructions were clear and easy to follow. One thing I appreciate is that the game offers a good level of challenge. There’s a learning curve to controlling Iron Man, which makes the game more engaging and rewarding. Once mastered, flying around and battling enemies truly feels amazing. In conclusion, the PlayStation - VR Marvel's Iron Man VR Bundle is an outstanding package for anyone looking to dive into a highly immersive and thrilling gaming experience. It offers high-quality VR gear, intuitive controls, and an exciting game that lets you step into the shoes of one of Marvel's most iconic heroes. If you're a fan of Marvel, VR gaming, or both, this bundle is definitely worth considering!

PS4 DualShock 4 controller support should have been integrated as an alternate control option. If Sony limited their potential on this, which I can see having happened, they shouldn't have worked with them to release it in the first place unless they were willing to put in work to circumvent the drawbacks. The Move controllers have no joysticks and you can't remap buttons in this version, moving around in this game is so limited that by default you are literally forced to use a gimmicky teleportation adaptation to movement, which makes it almost impossible to have a intuitive hack and slash fighting experience basically forcing you to use magic and ranged weapons; gradual movement is hidden in a menu that you have to find under VR settings so that you CAN WALK. The fastest speed you can set the gradual movement to is somewhere close to halfway between walking and running in the other versions of the game, and you literally can't run. Think of your field of view as a top view pie diagram cut into 6-8 sections. With the VR headset, you can maybe stretch about 3/4 of the way to the left and right adjacent sections to view those areas, but your range of movement is locked to your current section. If you strain really hard or play standing up you can turn all the way around, but in order to move in those directions, you have to use the X and O buttons on the right Move controller, which have different functions from same buttons on the left Move controller (confusing) to snap your range of movement to the next section in either direction. In doing so, it also jolts your field of view to a relevant appropriation from the previous section you were occupying, causing unavoidable motion sickness (and I'm not one to get motion sickness, this is my first experience with it). From a normal perspective of any standard game or the home menu, the headset itself has no way to adjust the visual blur without readjusting the entire headset and anything out side of your focal point is blurred naturally, within the actual game it's even worse. If you have glasses like me, and don't use contacts, you're stuck using them inside of the headset since you can't adjust the lens blur. Long play sessions will inevitably cause eye strain and in combination with any headset will press glasses into your eyes/into the lenses (scratching them)/ or into your temples. I've had better VR experiences (in better resolution even) on my Samsung Gear VR MOBILE HEADSET. The general image quality is comparable to something like cut scenes out of Final Fantasy 7 for the original PlayStation with aliasing being a HUGE contributor, any objects further than an arms reach away are almost completely void of distinguishable detail. If not for the ability to use spells and swords freely without restriction, this game wouldn't even be worth playing for longer than half an hour just to poke enemies to death or shoot spells in ridiculous directions; I would never consider an actual play through of this game in this format. Oh, and mods are not allowed in this version, so you have no way of fixing anything....highly considering returning this entire package and investing in other interests.

[Rewarded Review] Wished a warning would have been provided prior…
5 May 2024

The PS4 VR bundle worked, but the bugs are still leaving something to desire. Also, next time, if the Iron Man VR wasn’t to be received, a warning might have been warranted to the buyer. Called customer support offered no resolution besides returning the bundle and getting a refund. But I wanted the system, it was my son’s birthday present. A credit for the game or something to that affect would have made the experience so much more desirable. Next time, warn the consumer. Thank you.
