Playtex 4695b 18 Hour Custom Flex Back Wirefree Bra - Black, 46C

The fact that this item did not fit was the least of my concerns. It looked good and I could have just exchanged it for a larger size. However, what concerned me the most was the odor after I opened the package. It was not perfumy, more like a chemical. At first, the odor was light, and then it got a little stronger. So, I placed the item back in its original packet and wrapped it in a plastic bag. Even the Fedex rep was repelled by the odor when I dropped my package off for return shipping. No piece of clothing, especially undergarments, should ever have that kind of odor - no matter what!!! This shopping experience added to my frustrations with Walmart online shopping. (FYI, this is not the first time that I have purchased an item from Walmart with an unnatural odor.)

This bra is very comfortable although it does seem a little bit snug around the rib cage from other front closing bras that I've purchased. Not so much that I wouldn't recommend it but just something to be aware of. It might just be a my body shape too. I'm disabled. In recent years my spine has twisted due to nerve damage and resulting Scoliosis, both Kyphoscoliosis and regular Scoliosis. I have lost 6.5 inches in height and about 100 pounds over the past 5-10 years.

This 18 Hour Custom Flex Back Wire-free Bra by Playtex is the best overall support bra I've ever bought; I have ordered this bra many times over the years. The convenience of a front hook bra is so important to me since I have arthritis & back problems. I also like the support it gives me with 7 hooks (I think) & it doesn't shift around like some bras do. The Flex Back helps support my back also & helps remind me to sit up straight. Also, the cups are cut high enough that I don't spill out of the top. The front hooks are a little difficult to hook. When I hook several, 1 or 2 hooks un-hook and I have to start over again! Great bra - here's why:

This is a good bra because it keeps thing up where you want them! It is comfortable and flattering, the cups fit well. Of course I always help any bra by making sure everything is where it needs to be. I had shoulder replacement and waiting for the other one to be done. This is perfect for folks like me with disability issues. I do wish it came in beige or similar, too and I wish the bras remained at their best for longer than 6 months which seems to be the limit for me. So you may want to look for sales. But remember - the RIGHT bras are THE most important things to wear to look good in everything else! Ps.wear 46D

Great design idea however

The second one of this style of bra I have purchased and I am finding after wearing it about a month the hooks do not want to stay hooked and they start to pull out therefore making the bra very uneasy to wear due to being concerned about it unhooking while wearing it. I even went up a size from the others I have purchase thinking maybe the problem was it was too small and I am still getting the same issue. I do not know what the problem is. The bar is very comforable to start with and even after having issues it is still comforable but the piece of mind is not there since I am concerned about it coming unhooked.

Great fit

I never had a front closing bra before and I love this one. It has great support in the back and front and is very comfortable to wear. I followed the sizing chart and it fits exactly. I've washed it and it has held up excellently. All stitching is durable and comfortable. Wish I would have gotten one of these years ago. I've bought several more and they are all exactly the same.

PlayTAXED

Unlike past Playtex 18 hour bras, this bra is uncomfortable and poorly made. Part of the fabric/material was missing, stitching was crooked, and the bra did not fit well. I had been buying this brand for the last 14 years, but will no longer. The bras were thicker, better designed, and the fabric was not as stiff as now (August 2024). The Vanity Fair is a much better quality.

Poor design and not sized properly.

The sizing on this bra is way off. I have purchased the same size for many years. These purchases includes all different brands and types. I did measure myself according to the standard process just to make sure that nothing had changed. The straps are too short, even at their longest adjustment. They were also very hard to adjust. I was barely able to fasten the front hooks and can't imagine that they would hold out for very long. With all of these problems, this bra was extremely uncomfortable and unwearable. I will be returning it.

TERRIBLE QUALITY PLAYTEX BRA

June 25, 2024. The quality of this particular bra has changed horribly for the worse! Instead of a regular tag, the information of bra size etc., is printed in bold black ink on the white bra which looks terrible! It looks as if someone wrote with a black Sharpie marker, very tacky! Besides that the cup size is no longer true to size; it’s smaller and tighter fitting! I have purchased this particular line of Playtex brand for many years & the cup sizes have always been larger than any other brand of the same size bra! Now the quality of the Playtex brand has been comprised with cheap generic material! Totally unacceptable & I will NEVER purchase this brand again!

Very disappointed in Playtex

I don't know if this was just a bra that was defective or what. I always buy Playtex bras and never have a problem. Not this one. I put it on and when I wore it for at least 4 hours I looked down and realized the clasp on the front was unlocking. I was almost hanging out. There was no excuse for this it was the right size and the clasp looked like it should. I am not sure why this would do this. I clasped it back up and not long after the same thing happened. I can't return it because I wore it. So now I have a bra that is useless sitting in my drawer. I gave it a two star because it arrived on time and was comfortable and supportive until it came undone. I am not sure if I want to try another bra with Playtex or find another brand. Very disappointed though.
