A bit disappointed
For one, I ordered the wrong size so that's on me. An 8 in these heels are NOT your typical 8 ladies, order a size up!That being said, my heels were beautiful and just what I ordered. Quick shipping, but very disappointed to see what look like rust circle stains where the eyelets rested on the other side of the boot. I'd assume wherever they were stored had poor humidity control and the eyelets from the boots seeped some of the iron onto my brand new boots. Thankfully I had to send them back anyways, but it was disappointing to receive that quality of product to say the least for such a huge company name.... Show more

Beginner at Pole Dancing
These are my first Pleasers and my first shoes as a beginner pole dancer. I've done about 4 weeks of classes and I've fallen in love with pole dancing and felt I was ready to take it to the next level. I wanted something that would provide support and also offer some sort of toe protection and comfort. I have wide feet and bunions. After a lot of research I chose the vegan leather because I felt it would offer more "give" and flexibility with my bunions, and I was correct. I also sized up. I normally wear a 9 or 9 1/2 so I ordered a 10. I am very happy with the purchase. However, I am going to order some sleeve or protector because I do want to keep the toe/front of the shoe as protected as possible to limit the scuff marks.... Show more

Comfortable Pole Dance Heels
As a dancer with flat feet and problems with his achilles, these shoes are very comfortable and easy to walk/dance in. My metatarsals are wider than the rest of my foot, but the shoes don't taper toward the front, so they aren't too tight. Round up if you're half a size (I'm between 8.5 and 9, so I got a 9 and they fit perfectly), and keep in mind that your feet swell when you're dancing. Also, if one of your feet is slightly bigger than the other (like me), one size will fit both feet (there's no need to buy two pairs). The boot provides lots of ankle support, and the heel is very sturdy. I cut a pair of socks and folded them over the toe to protect the platform (warning: they will scuff if you don't use platform protectors), and they don't scuff through the socks. ... GREAT BEGINNER SHOES
These boots are flattering and sturdy. The material allows stretching and grip, but I am hesitant to climb with them cuz of the metal hooks. The only thing is that there already are scratches on the toe parts after I stumped with them during a choreo the first time wearing them. I cut some socks to use as protectors. I will keep breaking them in and looking forward to the day when they get soft and more comfy. I am usually size 8 in other shoes and ordered size 9, which fits just fine. Size 10 could even work but also could be dangerously loose. I stretched them with blow dryer as I have wide feet.... Show more

Looks even sexier in person
This is my first ever pair of pleaser heels, so I was a little worried I would be wobbly on it, since the height looks SO intimidating. But it was surprisingly easier to walk around in, and more supportive than some of the high heels I've had/tried on before. I'm usually between a 7-7.5 in most shoes, so I sized up to an 8 based on reviews that it runs a half-size smaller. I'm glad I did, as they fit just right when I have my socks on.I didn't have too much of a hard time during pole dance class, and I'm as beginner as you could get. I only had trouble trying to make sure all the laces were in the hooks while I was putting them on. I was definitely slower than the more experienced students, but I'm hoping I get faster at putting my shoes on with practice!... Show more

Love these boots!
These are so beautiful! I love the color and have already started wearing them a lot. I’ve been considering getting these for a while, and I’m glad I did. They’re also really comfortable. I sized up like I normally do in this style, 1020, but honestly these might have been okay in my normal size. They fit and they’re comfortable, though, so overall these are a favorite and will be boots that wear regularly.I took a daylight picture without shoe protectors so you can see the actual color of these, as well as a picture under lights with protectors.... My go-to pole boots!
After starting out with my first pair of Adore boots in the tan suede (which still get SO many compliments!), I just knew I needed a pair that were patent leather (we can even claim it was an experiment for climbing!). I’ll just say, these didn’t disappoint, and now that they’re broken in, I find myself reaching for them most of all. I won’t lie, though — there was definitely a breaking in stage… some thick socks and a hairdryer definitely came out specifically for the toe box area of these, which felt much, much more narrow when putting them on the first time (especially compared to the suede, which fit perfectly the moment I stepped into them), and I made sure to try to work on the toe box over time to make sure I didn’t rush in and do too much. The brown is this beautiful shade that somehow seems to go with any and every outfit I put on, and I get just as many compliments on these as my tan suede boots! They’re the perfect amount of grip, and I’d recommend these to both beginners and more advanced dancers alike. Seriously, if you’ve been eyeing these, take this as your sign to grab them before they’re gone!... Show more

So comfortable & a great 'starter' heel!
I've been dancing my whole life, but just started taking a heels & pole class. I've danced in regular heels before, but I was nervous about twisting my ankles in the super high, platform heels. The Adore-1020 boots are perfect to start in! They give plenty of ankle support while giving you the opportunity to get used to dancing in 7" heels, and they're super comfortable! They felt great the moment I put them on. I usually wear an 8.5-9, so based on the reviews, I purchased the 9 and they fit perfect!... Show more

They Ended Up Being Too Small!
My plan was to wear them for halloween as a cat, but I'm so glad that I didn't. The party I went to got rained out and my other boots I wore were covered in mud. WHEW! I'm happy and I'm grateful that I got to see what it feels like to have a pair of these on! Turns out, I DO look great in them, but my TRUE style for daily wear is something a little softer ~ I returned these and ordered the SKY 508's instead. Crossing my fingers but KNOWING that it'll be just right. Thank you Pleaser Family! and OF COURSE, I had to snap some pics ; )P.S. DEF reccomend going a WHOLE size up -- I'm a size 9 with narrow feet and my toes were totally up to the top! XD xoxo... Show more

Very comfortable and great for the pole
I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these boots are. I normally wear a size 7 but sized up to an 8 based on other reviews. I also have wide feet so thought sizing up would be smart. After wearing them a couple times in class, I would say these are more true to size. But I wear mine with thin socks and they are still comfortable and easy to move in. The patent leather is sticky- a bit challenging when you're doing a spin around the pole but great for climbing! I highly recommend these boots.... Show more
