I am so disappointed in this product. According to research SD cards should last approximately 10 years. Yea that's a joke. I barely got a year out of this card. And I had high hopes for this product after going through several other brands including Sandisk which all ended up corrupted after a short time. What's a girl gotta do to get a decent product out here? This is ridiculous!! Okay rant over. Oh and one last thing, this review is not a reflection of the company who sells and ships it on here. It's solely based on this garbage card of which I purchased in the store at Walmart. Don't waste your money folks. There's got to be hope somewhere

I received the PRO Elite Class 10 U3 microSD Flash Memory Card in a easy open envelope promptly and in good condition. It was in a retail blister package and came with a sd adapter that comes in handy for those older gadgets that use SD rather than Micro SD. I popped in a Panasonic Lumix pocket camera for a look at speed of reading and writing. Most memory chips read plenty fast enough for almost all applications but the write speed is the bottle neck in most real time data writing such as cameras recording. Taking a few shots without any measuring device but just judging the time it takes to be ready for more pictures it seems to be very fast compared to some of my older chips. All in and done this SD chip is suitable for just about everything with high performance ... MoreI received the PRO Elite Class 10 U3 microSD Flash Memory Card in a easy open envelope promptly and in good condition. Old Garmin Nuvi automobile portable GPS units needed more memory to handle current map updates, which are too large for the internal memory. A Micro-SD card between 4GB and 32GB in size is required.PNY has always produced high quality memory devices, so I ordered one and it helped revive an old GPS unit. I then ordered a second one and it is in use in another unit. These were Garmin Nuvi 260 and Nuvi 1490.

I was excited to receive this micro SD card to review. I am not even remotely tech savy but was able to quickly and easily use this product.I have a kindle fire that I use daily to read books on, surf the Internet and peruse Facebook with. I screen shot a lot of pictures and this quickly fills up the built in memory. Extra memory is always a welcome feature. It allows me to keep from deleting apps and speeds up the device.I do not know the difference from brand to brand regarding micro SD cards. I just know the more memory the better. This card was easily formatted and fit the kindle. It allowed for a large memory boost. My device worked faster and I was able to keep my photos and apps. I am pleased with it.
If you are looking to expand the minimal 32GB(25GB really) internal storage of your Nintendo Switch look no further! For the longest time I've used PNY flash drives without issues & decided to try my first PNY microSDXC card and have absolutely no regrets on the purchase! I would honestly not pay anything above $70 bucks for this great 128GB microSDXC card. And for those wondering, I did turn my Switch off completely, inserted the card, turned it back on and the Switch asked for an "update" to use the card, went through fine & formatted it, & I redownloaded all my digital games, plus erased update data of my physical/digital games so they would re-download onto the card and free up space on the internal memory of the Nintendo Switch. Leaves more than enough space for your game saves as the Switch for the time being only is able to save user save data onto the internal storage(I hope they change this w/ a firm update). Anyways thanks a lot Newegg for excellent shipping service & PNY for 10+ years of your great products! Keep going strong guys!
I bought this microSDHC card for a new camera I just added to my home security system. It couldn't have been easier to install. Just slide it in then snap it down. That's it! It works great too! It offers tons of memory space. It captures crisp, clear video. It's offered at a very reasonable price. Very happy with this purchase. If I add more security cameras to my security system, this will be my "go to" micro SDHC card for all of the cameras. Great product.
Tested with Transcend RDF8 Card Reader in Windows (USB3.0 Rated for 130/95MB/s) Everything written below relates to the second card. (The first card failed on a single run of H2TestW (Read/Write Integrity Check).) ------ Reliability Testing: ------ From H2TestW's test patterns: - Write files 1GB in size until card is full. - Read back each file checking for read errors / confirming expected bit pattern. Speed results (unknown queue depth - this program is used to test data integrity): Write Speed Avg: 13.3MB/S Read Speed Avg: 72MB/S Tried running CrystalMark on the second card but it kept crapping out midway through (requires reformat and only shows ~240MB). Crystal Mark Experience (Again this is the SECOND card!) - Run H2Test2w (one read/write pass) -> OK - Run ... MoreTested with Transcend RDF8 Card Reader in Windows (USB3.0 Rated for 130/95MB/s) Everything written below relates to the second card. (The wrong diskette is in the drive. Insert Code 34) It seems with the lower cost memory in SD cards every manufacturer is bound to have quality control issues. PNY's new line isn't looking good at the moment. Run H2TestW or a similar utility to test the card for read/write errors - preferable taking multiple passes.
The PNY cards arrived safely within days, 3 cards in a blister pack. I was using Kingston cards primarily, a few SanDisk, but decided to try PNY. I use them for external memory on my phones, but also in portable card holders that resemble thumb drives. The card inserts into the holder for transferring files between devices via USB port, or playing audiobooks through radios or Bluetooth speakers that have USB ports. So far have had very few cards corrupt over the years. I think of them as micro floppy discs.
Great purchase, plenty of storage even if you like to download movies & music. Used it to upgrade a Galaxy Tab A Lite that was light on internal memory & needed more power to run. Nothing more annoying than constant reminders that your memory is full & the additional tedious task of deleteing things from your memory. It was also the best priced microSD card I could find, & I comparison shopped for weeks. Its definitely not cheap in quality though, it comes formatted & ready to go. Switched it between 4 devices to try it out & it worked every time!
I bought a DashCam years ago but recently my daughter discovered the DashCam wasn’t recording. Come to find out it was my own fault. I inserted a 64GB micro-SD card instead of a 32GB Micro-SD card. At the time I only had one 32GB card and only 64GB (See Note to Self) below.I bought this 32GB Micro-SD card to solve that problem. Now the DashCam can continuously loop record without stopping. I have not tested if you protect any segments of recording what will happen if the DashCam starts recording from the beginning of the protected segments will still be protected. Maybe I’ll test this in the future and update my review.Note to Self: The 64GB card will work until the end of space is reached, but the DashCam does not have the capability to start using the 64GB ... MoreI bought a DashCam years ago but recently my daughter discovered the DashCam wasn’t recording.
