I like the PNY SD card. It’s very fast, just as fast as my Samsung EVO SDXC Micro card as far as I can tell. While it says it's 128gb, in reality it only has 116gb of usable space. There is not much to say about a SD card. It works, its fast. These cards always read faster than they write. It has a write protect switch. My only complaint is that I ordered the wrong card. I would have much preferred the micro SD card. They always come with an SD adaptor. That way you can use it as a micro SD or standard SD card. This one is only a standard SD card. It will work for you computers SD card slot but forget about putting it in your phone. But that was more my fault and not PNY’s. If you don’t plan on using this as a micro SD card I highly recommend it.

I've been using the SD cards standard since they pretty much started. This PNY 512GB is the biggest and fastest SD card I have used so far. I was able to achieve 92.63 MB read and 88.45 write using a external card reader attached to a USB 3.0 port. Very impressive for a small card. At first I tried testing the speeds on my new laptop's built-in SD card reader, but it was bottlenecking at 38MB for the read and write. So definitely try another reader if you're not getting the advertised speeds. This card definitely puts out what it advertises. Another thing to make sure is that your device supports the current SD standard which is SDXC. A SDHC or below will not be able to read this card.I put this card in my camera and it took pictures and video just fine. These SDXC cards can provide a much higher capacity of storage than any I've used before. Data storage is one thing you can't have enough if when it comes to photos and videos. You will want to make sure that your camera is compatible with SDXC cards as opposed to the SD/SDHC cards. Older cameras may not be able to use the SDXC format. These cards provide extended storage capacity and high performance. They are a perfect option for when you want to channel your inner photographer and use a stand-alone camera (as opposed to a smart phone camera) and snap away without having to be concerned as much about storage.
PNY has always been a great product to have for flash type removable memory and this one is no different.Its fast read write speed is great on our SLR and mirrorless digital cameras.It records and responds as well as plays back with flawless speed. File integrity is never a question or worry.A SD of this size give me comfort knowing I can capture a lot of data in my preferred RAW format which creates awesome images but huge files.Function in the computer is equally as awesome as it is in the cameras.

I like the idea of using flash cards instead of zip drives for several reasons. One, they take up less space and two, can be more easily labeled than the multishaped zip drives. And I find these have much more storage capacity too. This 28G flash memory card provides just. It allows me to store photos and movies (lots of them) without having to store them on my computer, taking up precious space and slowing down my computer speed. I can even uses these in my window mounted car camera which needs lots of storage for video while driving (protection during accidents). Would definitely recommend these!

I used this in a Raspberry Pi 4 single board computer and for that this worked great. I also tried it for external storage for a PC. It worked fine for that but the transfer speed was a little slow. Once the data was transferred it loaded quickly enough. I also tried it in my camera and it worked great but once again when I transfer the pics to my computer the transfer speed is a little slow. The speed wasn't terrible and other than that this product performs well. You could buy a faster card and pay twice the price but for me I don't mind waiting a couple extra minutes to transfer my pics.
