Runs games at 4k Ultra with Ray Tracing at usually over 100 frames per second. There is literally nothing better than the RTX 4090 for gaming. I have mine paired with a 55" LG C2 OLED running games at 4k 120z. It is gorgeous. Other manufacturers may have more before l bells and whistles with their cards but it makes literally no difference unless you plan to overclock your GPU for some reason (it's not necessary). PNY makes quality products and it's thermals at full GPU load after several hours are 60-63C... Well below 80c-90c normal operating temperatures. I have nothing but complete confidence in this graphics card and future proofing my new build. Buy it if it ships and sold by Walmart. It'll come from PNY directly. Increase to 61% if needed.

Got this card to replace my 3070 FE, and I am definitely impressed. With the same settings, I'm getting nearly double the performance in all my games. Currently have it paired with a 5800x (going to upgrade to 5800x3d soon) and has not been much of a bottleneck, but in some games it is noticeable.Same price as the 4080 FE, and honestly I think this looks better. Has 3 fans, so it cools amazingly, and haven't seen it go above 55C at all.Love the RGB, fully customizable with the VelocityX software from PNY, and it looks amazing in my HYTE Y60 White case. This is not the cheapest stock 4070 TI but it has the beefiest stock cooler in its price class. You get the triple slot cooler that will keep this cool at around 65 C at peak temp. At stock, I was able to hit 2850 mhz. I was also able to undervolt to 1050mv and retain the max stock speed while over clocking the RAM by +1000mhz.There’s no need to purchase the overclocked versions of any other model for extra money. This one will overclock easily with its cooler. Due to how efficient the architecture is, I recommend undervolting while keeping the max stock clock (which will be way highest than Nvidia’s base boost of 2625mhz). My card came running at 2850mhz but your mileage may vary.

Mine is actually the same PCB but its called the PNY 4080 xlr8 Uprising 3 fan. Same everything else though. Just think of it as another FE or just a reference model. Can't add extra power but ill it doesn't need it. It is ridiculously efficient. Playing DCS World or Fifa the thing rarely draws more than 275 watts and its pushing 130 and 175 FPS in 4k respectively in those games. Build quality is good and it does have a full 3 IO shield. Paired with Ryzen 7 7700x and 32 GB DDR5 5200mhz dimms. I recommend using either the sag bracket it comes with or at least ordering one online bc the thing is HUGE and heavy. It literally will not make good enough contact with PCIE slot without them. It may run in X4 or if you are lucky x8 without one.

It looks the coolest, it's the second smallest of the 3, has the best performing fans of the 3, and is the most quiet of the 3. It's still a huge card though, but it does come with an anti-sag bracket if you need it (trust me you will need it, mine sagged if I didn't use it). Performs incredibly well at every game I threw at it, even Cyberpunk 2077. DLSS 3 and Frame Generation are literal game changers and definitely help this card out. On idle, it sips 7 watts in comparison to 40 ~ 70 idle with my 3090. The performance uplift from last generation is very impressive, considering how this thing sips power. I am able to finally enjoy the few raytraced games I do play at better frames and better quality, which is a cool bonus. However, this is the extent where I can give this card props for how efficient and genuinely impressive the tech is, the fault really lies at nvidia's feet for pricing this GPU so atrociously, to where even though I spent my money because I needed a replacement for my dead 3090, I will not be keeping this card. I cannot in good conscious keep this GPU because of the insane price it's going for. I am actually really upset because I do not NEED a 4090, and to be very honest I would have kept it because for the insane performance it can give with the efficiency it provides is genuinely great. But for an additional 300 ~ 400 dollars, gives the 4090 gives the same delta of performance that the 4080 had from a 3080ti to it's own sibling. The upsell to a 4090 is too good because of the terrible pricing and the inherent zero value of this product is why I could not in good conscience recommend this GPU or keep it either. I loved using it, but I will not stick up for terrible launch pricing, it's a shame my 3090 kicked the bucket because I'd have no need to upgrade. Also, this PNY variant card runs really well, no issues and is very big but it cools really well, the boost clock is at the rated advertised 2550MHz.To wrap things up here's a TL;DR. Phenomenal GPU for what it is and what it can accomplish, downright terrible price where I would not purchase the GPU for the zero value it provides generationally over the 30 series. If it wasn't for me being close to a Micro Center for the downright excellent service they provide, I wouldn't have bought this GPU at all. Terrific card, terrible pricing.The rating is for the card itself, not the pricing, the card didn't obviously price itself nvidia did. Still knocked off a star for the egregious price though, hopefully this changes in the future.

Before coming to the pny xlr8 4080 I previously tried the gigabyte gaming oc 4080 and msi suprim 4070 ti and liked this card way better than both combined the value is there along with the fact that it stutters way less than both of those.The gpu usage doesn't randomly drop at max loads like with the other 40 series cards I've tried... and no matter what they didn't want to stay at max usage on Furmark and my demanding games it went away with this PNY xlr8 card.Anyways as the title stated this is a super cool card I did a quick FurMark benchmark test earlier, and wow it wouldn't go above 53c!
