I was shipped the wrong item. Instead of a Premier-X Class A2, I was sent a Elite-X Class A1. Normally it would be pretty close for the unsuspecting consumer, but this bait and switch won't work out for my application. Not happy with the swap.

Spent 4 hours capturing data to this only to have it short out and physically burned where the end you push/pull fell off after I got home and tried to copy the pics off of it. It was HOT when I pulled it out of the Anker adapter I use on my PC. burned my finger. Anker tested on other SD cards after, works fine. Very disappointed I had to spend another 4 hours on a different day to capture it all over again.

The two pack minimizes the collection of adapters I've accumulated. Why can't you buy micro-sd cards without an adapter?Have not used them yet to compare speed. Price was good so I'll upgrade my score to a 4 if it works a fast as my usual SanDisk or Samsung white ones.

I purchased this as PNY is known as a good brand for cameras and digital. It took about 2 hours to download around 55gb of pics and video. I’m no tech geek so I’m really not sure if that’s good or bad?
Seller Maozhu Store sells fake sd cards and they are not even the sd as advertised. The card I ordered and shown is PNY 512gb A2 Speed 3 Class 10. Seller sent fake 512gb Speed 1 A1 Elite. To make it worse there was only 499gb available on card. Total Rip off! Beware of this seller.
This micro SD card is being used in security cameras I bought for both inside and outside the house. The camera will work without the micro SD card but no recordings or photos would be retained by the camera. The benefit of having a micro SD card is that even if a burglar is able to scramble your WiFi, the camera will have the recording available of whatever was within view. There is also an adapter so the tiny SD card can be accessed by a computer, assuming you have the correct reader.
I got 3 of these, and one was outright weird with paint chipping off immediately, BH sent 4th one under warranty (thank you guys!). What I found is that all 4 have quite different read and write speeds (plenty fast though, but variation is surprising). The A1 class is properly met on only 2 of he 4 cards. Oh, and one of the SD adapters is outright not working. So why 4-stars? Well, they are great value for money. It's not like SanDisk is worth their prices (I had 2 SanDisk cards fail outright and SanDisk lies about A2 class rating as cards barely meet A1 speeds.)
It doesn't even come in PNY packaging. It comes in generic packaging. The max read speed on Crystal Disk Mark is only 18.45 MB/s. Also shows as fake using Android SD card checker app.
PNY has always been an excellent brand. I bought this to expand the memory in my tablet and I have no complaints. Straightforward setup, no drain on the system, works just fine.
It seems to be a legitimate PNY card, but flash test software couldn't verify it's brand. it also registered as only having 442gb of space. that's a significant size blocked off. I needed something affordable and fast so I won't be returning it. Hopefully there's no issues in performance or corruption over time.
