Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet Obsidian Flames Booster Pack

The package came quickly and was sealed really well. However, when I opened up the packs I got a ton of duplicate rare cards. Just under half the packs were duplicate or triplicate rares. I got 3 claydol holos, 3 Togekiss holos, 3 Scovillain holos, and then several other duplicates. I got some decent pulls but overall I wouldn't buy this set again unless you really love these pokemon. I enjoyed 151 the best and felt it had better value for the money.

What happened to the quality of Pokémon cards

The collection itself is okay however the quality of these cards is garbage. I feel like the quality gets worse and worse with every collection that comes out. I would say at least 75% of the cards have uneven borders or scratched white corners and white edges. For the amount of money we pay for theses cards they should be in perfect condition. Now not only do you have to pull all the cards in the collection you have to try and pull cards in Mint condition which is extremely difficult with these newer collections.

[Rewarded Review] Cards arent worth anything and not many hits

Really not the best set. The cards arent worth anything. The three top hits are worth $50, $20, and $10. After those 3 the next 6 hits are worth between $10 and $5. You're very unlikely to make your money back.I would only really buy this set if you're either trying to collect all card sets/top hits, or if you really like a card in the set. Even after that, there aren't many full arts and most of the cards aren't that nice looking and are cheap "EX hits."

[Rewarded Review] Pokemon Cards

If you’re new to pokemon cards, these are singles packs. You get one of the packs shown in the picture. The pull rate on singles is higher than it is in bundles. Some say your pull rate is better with bundles but thats not true. Ive bought a few elite trainer boxes and didnt get any good cards (rare cards). Sometimes its cheaper to buy in bumdles than singles, but of its not. Singles is the way to go. The more packs you get, the the higher the chances of you getting some good cards. So in my opinion, this was a good purchase!

most likely a repack

i don't claim to be an expert in pokémon boxes. However, i bought this for my son and we open the packs together. There have been way too many repeat rare cards for it to be a coincidence. There have been rares that he's gotten in triplicate already, which in a box of 36 packs seems highly unlikely and a few others of which he's gotten doubles. These cards are of course some of the least valuable rares in the set. Which leads me to believe someone opened the box, took out any very valuable cards and replaced them with other bulk rares and resealed the box.
