I purchased the film last month and after taking 14 photos I still don't have any that are usable. All of the photos have a very dark green film over them with light blue streaks running vertically. I have taken the photos in various locations at various times and I always get the same results. I only have 2 photos left and I am almost positive that they will turn out green

It is so fun to have the Polaroid pictures back again. It is so retro and takes you a time past. But the best part is you can capture that soft look Polaroid view that makes the picture seem frozen in time. And the pictures always look like that even years later bringing back great memories. We use ours to take fun pictures of the pets doing odd things around the house.

These are really great! I've only used them for the Polaroid Lab, but they print the photos out with good color. It gives you that Polaroid feel with a bit of HD quality is the best way I can describe them. Colors are pretty good. Won't be as vibrant as on your phone, but still looks good (definitely intended to keep that nostalgic polaroid feel). The only downside is that I wish more came in a pack. They can get pretty pricey the more often you print. I would definitely give it 5 stars if they offer more per pack.

I shot a pack of polaroid 600 film (production date 2/2020) which is chemically identical to I-Type with the exception that the film pack has a battery. The camera I used was a Polaroid SLR 680. This was my first experience with Polaroid, after switching from Instax. Really impressed with the images. Much prefer them to instax because of the size and overall aesthetic of them. Colours seem to be ok, but not perfect. Portraits had good skin tones but landscapes had strong green/magenta colour casts. There is also uneven lightness across the image on a couple of the photos. I assume this is an issue with the chemical pouch. The dynamic range is also poor, shadows have almost no detail and highlights blow out easily. However, when you get a well exposed photo, all the ... However, when you get a well exposed photo, all the details pop. I think the black and white might be better since it won't be effected by the colour accuracy. Definitely recommend this film, but know what you're getting into so you don't get disappointed when your results aren't perfect!
Though I understand this is expired film, this was obviously not stored well . The films was completely dry, the peel away portion had already separated and none of it would develop. I have purchased expired Polaroid film in the past and still been able to produce a photograph. This was not the case with this purchase.
Very nostalgic and all that fun stuff. I never had one of my own but used it a couple times like 8,298.9184082 decades ago shortly after I fell out of the sky. They come out just like the before time ones. Be sure to read the box for them instructions and info.Do not shake it. The song that instructs this was made to up the sales of their film. But now we know and can buy them as needed.Great to have these pics for family, friend and great moment memories.Wouldn't shake again.
I really wish I could leave a positive review for the I-Type film. In the last few months I’ve shot two packs of I-Type and one pack of 600 style film for an older Polaroid camera. On a positive note all of my pictures developed except for one that had a strange defect. My issue with the film is the color and sensitivity to cold and heat. All of my photos have a pink or orange hue. My film was stored correctly prior to use and was shielded after ejecting from the camera. The film is also prone to being underexposed. If you’re looking for a highly filtered style of photography, this film might be for you. If you’re looking for the vivid Polaroids of yesterday, these aren’t them. I commend The Impossible Project for their work resurrecting Polaroid but they still have ... MoreI really wish I could leave a positive review for the I-Type film. Used with the I-1 camera and gives pleasing results. I don't always follow the makers' suggestion to use the flash even with outdoor shots. One of the sample images was taken this way. Use the smartphone app for better control.
So, while it's hard to rah rah the "value" of the new Polaroid film (not for use in vintage cameras) as far as a product, I think it has another value. As a parent of late Gen-Z kids who have had smartphones since their tweens, is a big change. It makes you think about what you want to take a picture of. Is that image I'm capturing worth a buck or two? It gives this entirely digital generation a chance to examine what they really value and want to capture in a physical medium when they can literally take 100 pictures in a day for "free".My parents had an original Polaroid when I was growing up and the pictures look nearly the same. I feel like they develop more slowly, and you're told not to shake them (sorry, Outkast), but It's a fun experience to relive with my ... I recently bought a Polaroid OneStep + camera which I love. Unfortunately, both the film that came with the first order and subsequent order are both slightly expired which might affect the quality of the photos. I know the Polaroid photos have a very different quality than other types of photography which we are used to, for example the colors are not quite as bright and the edges not quite as sharp, and this is to be expected, not a problem at all. But I believe that fresh film would make higher quality so in the future I will buy the film directly from Polaroid's own web site.
