Seems to be really good bang for buck. Noticeably more bass than smaller PSW110, well worth the money.A side note… wattage rating seems to be rather worthless when it comes to subs. Dont be concerned with the 100 watts here, the output on this is big

I started looking for a 12-in subwoofer to my home theatre setup. I have had my 8 inch downward firing Cerwin Vega for years. I bought this durning Christmas time December 29, 2022. I did not open the box until June 2023. Found out it was defective. It crackles when it play low bass tones. Best Refuse to exchange it, return policy is only 14 days of purchase, not including un-opened box of items, you own it, whether bad, defective or good. I cannot use it, am told it is under warranty to have Polk repair it.

This subwoofer really takes our audio system to a hiugher level. The cleanness of the audio response is amazing, and the presence it gives symphonic music through the entire spectrum is impressive. No qualms about this iutem in any way.

Just giving my advise because I’ve been looking for a good subwoofer on a budget and it’s not easy.I do like all the adjustments on the back of the subwoofer though is defined useful.Final conclusion: gets the job done and sounds good with movies when there isn’t distortion, but when there is distortion especially with music it’s definitely annoying and doesn’t sound pleasing at all. If I got this on sale for $299 or under it wouldn’t be too bad of a deal then.Hope this review helps others.
This subwoofer is decently priced and has a nice low end. There is a low frequency control and gain and power. It sounds very good on songs with deep bass. You cant beat the price. I will definitely recommend to friends and family.
Excellent subwoofer! This subwoofer is perfect if you have the room. I upgraded from a 10" that I had for years. It was still great but I upgraded my receiver, and also purchased some Front Presence speakers, so I decided to upgrade my subwoofer as well. I am glad that I did!

Perfect sound. I mostly 'set and forget' the crossover dial. The 100W class A/B low noise amp does the job. I barely need any volume to fill out the room. I use the RCA inputs. I use a 3.5mm male/splitter to connect it alongside a set of Bose desktop monitors. Pretty sweet.The body is bigger than I originally expected but it works in my room. This is a keeper.
Polk monitor XT12 is 50 watts RMS, 100 watts peak. Info BBY provided in their specificstion is incorrect. Subwoofer sounds amazing, after continuous play, you can tell subwoofer bass punch drops.
