I purchased this speaker based on reviews and the price. Glad I did. I can actually compare it to the one I had previously and the difference is remarkable. I now get this speaker is perhaps the most important part of surround system because so much dialogue comes through it. I was surprised at how it creates a sense of space and distance, such as when a character is speaking, coming from background to foreground. Even looks cool, and remember, you do have to look at the everyday as part of your environment. This thing is great.

Great sound small price. This center speaker sounds awesome. It is really well built looks awesome it is bigger than I thought it would be. But has the sound to match. I would recommend this to anyone I have paired with 6 of the T15 bookshelf speakers and 2 12 in klipsch subwoofers and it sounds awesome as if you were right in the theater. They sounds better than the high dollar speakers. If you buy this and the T15s to match you will not be disappointed and it will not break your budget and you will still get high quality sound.

Had an unfortunate incident where my previous center channel decided to just stop working all of a sudden with no warning. I tried everything, ran many tests, but to no avail. And what good is a surround sound system if you can't hear anyone talk? So I ran out to Best Buy and found this unit. It's definitely better than my old unit and works great. In fact, it may be a little overpowering. Going to fiddle with my receiver's settings. But definitely reccomend this unit. Even though it is pretty large (almost twice the size of my Series X).

The Onkyo center speaker I was previously using was not very strong in the midrange, and the dialogue would get lost in the background noise. No amount of AV Receiver tweaking could fully overcome the issue. I have some hearing loss in voice frequencey range which further complicates the issue.After much research I decided to try this Polk center speaker. The difference was immediately noticeable. It provides a full, rich sound while also providing crystal clear dialogue. I was able to lower my AVR gain settings for the center speaker, and I can also watch shows at an overall lower volume level than before (which my family appreciates).Can't say enough good about this center speaker. Very satisfied.

I replaced my old 2" Sony centre with T30 and I observed lot of differences in the vocals.Centre is mainly for vocals and that is very powerful in this speaker while in 5.1. Even in 2.1 channels, yu can try converting stereo into dolby or dts (if u have that option in receiver) for youtube videos and we can really enjoy a clarity in voice which you will feelSpecifically vocals and effects are doing a very good job. I cant see much bass in this, as a home theatre you should prefer having a sub bcoz u cant depend on this for bass entirely. My polk hts12 will take care of that. Incredible sound for the price! I purchased the T30 center channel for my home theater. I was running compact JBL speakers that just weren’t cutting it. This center channel really fills the room. There is a minuscule difference in sound between the T30 and the far more expensive S35. Unless you have a sound proof room, you’ll never hear the difference.
*I reviewed the Subwoofer earlier. After I put the sub on I knew I needed some mid range. THIS SPEAKER IS NO JOKE. I had the T-15 bookshelfs for some movies and they worked pretty good. I added the sub and this T-30 speaker and now it is amazing. Crank up some freaky Floyd, Rolling Stones "Some Girls", Robin Trower "Bridge of Sighs", Ten Years After "Cricklewood Green" or some Stevie Ray Vaughan and you will be thanking me. I could probably add a graphic equalizer and blow my socks off. The sound is amazing with just an old Kenwood receiver. I am going to add a couple of T-50's just because I like to freaking rock.I will rock, I will roll, and when I buy those T-50's I will write another review just for you.This is a great value. We had a 4-channel entertainment system hooked up to our television which worked great for many years. It included a great sub-woofer. The only problem was that our old system didn't have a channel for a center speaker and voices were sometimes hard to hear. Our 4 speakers and sub-woofer were fine, we just needed a receiver with the additional center channel and add a good center speaker. We went with a nice Onkyo 7.2 receiver and added this Polk center speaker. Everything works great! Now we can hear voice and dialog and don't have to have closed captioning turned on for every program. I know you could spend more, but this speaker appears well built and seems to do the job quite well.
