This is not the real Classic fit Mesh Polo from Ralph Lauren. Its cheap low quality version made for specifically for Macy’s only. Fabric is flimsy, thin and uneven fit, too big or too small. The real one sells for 110 dollars. Don’t but looking at the price. They look bad and don’t last long.

I like these polos. My problem is that availability is poor in Finland so have to order by mail. I ordered three, one was made in Bangladesh and two in Turkey. The Turkey pieces are remarkably larger than Bangladesh manufactured. Width of polo is 3 cm wider in Bangladesh version. Bangladesh version fits nicely but Turkey version looks ridiculously oversized. It’s problematic if you can’t trust the sizes

I can wear this in a business causal setting on the job, in a casual setting out on the town and this shirt will be the perfect one to wear. Great quality polo. Soft and comfy fabric. Better than those from Lacoste or even Fred Perry. Am surprised that size S fits me for a slim fit model. Luckily I followed the advice of ASOS online fit consultant. For those RL polo shirts that I bought in Singapore, only Size M for slim fit model fits me. Maybe those produced for Asian markets are intentionally designed smaller in size.
I really want to like one of these shirts, unfortunately the consistency is simply not there. Bought in white and black; the white is too short and wide, the black too long and narrow/small and very tight in the arms. I tried twice, thinking I'd have better luck, same issue of inconsistency. The black was much too long, but this time the white was even tighter. It also matters the country of manufacture; one shirt made in one place will fit completely differently than one made elsewhere despite size and color and fit supposedly identical. From batch to batch it's all trial and error and therefore frustrating.
I gave this as a gift to a very special person. I bought this online since I am currently working abroadbut I know a classic polo never goes out of style and always a perfect gift. The customized initial blew his mind away. He loves the color and the initials. I got a big bear virtual hug and lots of kisses. Delivery is earlier than expected too. Thanks RL.
I have been a customer for decades. Unfortunately the quality of your polo shirts continues to go down while the price goes up. It is sad. I have polo shirts that are ten years old and they have longer tails and much softer cotton than these new ones. The new ones are like cardboard and not long enough to be tucked in. I assume your competitors are doing the same thing. I hope this review gets to someone who can do something to improve the quality of your products…a long time customer
My husband and I both love the construction of the shirt on him. Unfortunately (or fortunately) while ordering I neglected to notice that the shirt is not 100% cotton, as he has worn for over 30 years.Living in Florida, that’s a concern but we decided to keep the shirts.The white one was worn first and fit beautifully.But while out, he somehow managed to rub the back against something and there are now several snags across the back! Aaaah, synthetic materials.We have patronized Ralph Lauren for over 40 years. It fits our lives but we DO prefer cotton.
Probably on of the worse shirts I have purchased. Bought two different colors same size XL one is larger than the other and the material is different. Tried to wash and shrink and they are still to wide. Cannot take them back but will not purchase again. I thought Ralph Lauren would be a better shirt then others especially for the price you pay.
