ALMOST PERFECT CHINOS
These are very well made chinos with soft fabric and rich color that presents a polished appearance. I really like the width of the hem at the bottom of the pants. These chinos are almost perfect but for two issues. The sizing is small in the waist so I'd advise to go up one size or two inches as I did. Also the taper from about the knee down is a bit wide for a slim fit. I had to get them altered for the desired fit. I used the more casual leaning Sullivan chinos as a template, which removed almost an inch of width at the maximum taper at the bottom of the pant leg. If they fix the waste sizing and adjust the taper or just make a Sullivan cut these would be just about perfect.... Show more

Classic was upgraded poorly
I've bought RL's slim fit chinos for the last decade. They used to be superb in fit and quality. Unfortunately, this year RL introduced bad changes - the cloth is different. It expands after you wear the trousers for an hour meaning after a day, the size has gone up by an inch. The material is also different attacting more lint and dust. Overall a very poor upgrade of a classic... Show more

Disaster
Ralph Lauren made a complete disaster out of these pants. Ordered 3 different sizes to try and find the right fit and each one was worse than the last. I own multiple pairs of Ralph Lauren pants all in the same size so not sure what going on with this style. Also the delivery/shipping times are embarrassing - took a week to even ship out of the warehouse.... Show more

Evolution
I once wrote on here how I had sought what was possibly my last pair of blue jeans, and it appears that has come true after passing my 50th milestone in life it came to me that chinos were the way forward for me but what colour? Surely not red? Indeed a via media of burgundy joy redolent of Romanic middle class eschewing the bright glimmer of red which is today's Romanic empirical purple, reserved for those of a higher order. Indeed the via chosen in burgundy is a delight notwithstanding the fit which works for both buttocks and crotch with and excellent length. Bravo indeed.... Show more

Excellent quality, color and fit
I've worn so many different brands and styles of black pants. These are the best. They look great - pitch black - theyfeel soft, and the fit is perfect with a slight bit of stretch. I can wear these casually or into the office. I have them in black and midnight blue. I have not washed them yet, but I am afraid to because the fit now is absolutely perfect!... Show more

great fit
By great fit, I mean the oants I ourchased for my oartner and the salesperson who helped us find just the right ones. Our trip to Bloomingdales Chestnut Hill on a Sunday solved a big problem. we wanted the fit, style and excellent materials of the Rallh Lauren line, but it took the careful eye of our salesperson to identify just the right slim fit stretch pants. What a miracle to have the great oroduct that works so well for the a guy whose lean body demanded a careful cut to get comfort and just the right look sithout susoenders to keeo the pants in place. We love the three new oair of Raloh Lauren slim cut stretch oants, and we adore Susan Dale, who spent the time and gave the attention we needed to get this our hase right, We will be back for more!... Run small
I’ve been buying these pants for years. I needed to get new ones so I got the size I always get. Didn’t bother trying them on because I always get the same size. But this redsigned look fits small! Try on before you wash them. Overall great pants. I’m just very disappointed I wasted $125 on pants that don’t fit.... Show more

So good!!
Love these chinos! I did a lot of research from different brands before landing on the ones from my favourite label. Quality material and construction, design is perfect with slim leg and nice leg opening for either a boot or loafers. Great selection of colours...I have 9 pairs now. Comfortable with a good amount of stretch and a reasonably lightweight cotton for the Australian climate year round. Currently using these for work and smart casual occasions. Highly recommend and can only say you get what you pay for.... Show more

The best chinos for me
Owned many RL chinos over the years and surprised how much this simple style evolves. Just tossed 20+ year old pairs that looked way to baggy/floppy and reordered same size in stretch slim fit and they look spot on for today! The fabric is thinner, but definitely moves better. The construction around the waste is quality. Few (maybe no other) brands look this good on me. Very versatile in my downsized wardrobe.... Show more

Unlike any other chino!
I searched nearly every brand for chinos in these colors and this fit. Ted Baker was close, but the Polo’s are better in every category. The material quality and stitching is very high quality. The fit is fantastic, modern and slim without being skinny. The slight stretch also makes them very comfortable. They didn’t become baggy throughout the night like many stretch pants do. I love the multi-button waste. I thought this would be annoying, why 3 buttons to close my pants!? But, they are simple and adds elegance and a great fit. I have a muscular build, so the pants grip my calves and ride up a bit when I sit, but not a big problem. Perhaps if the pants were lined, this would make them perfect. I also really appreciate the wide range in sizing options. The 35x30 ... MoreI searched nearly every brand for chinos in these colors and this fit.
