I could listen to music on this headset for a while, but unfortunately as mentioned before, comfort isn't this headset's strongpoint.Overall, this is a decent headset to get, but there are a lot better headsets from Poly you can definitely go for.

With portable devices these days not coming with a stereo port, I had to opt for a headset with a USB jack. Plantronics is a reliable brand, so why not. I've used this mic in lengthy audio/video meetings in pretty noisy environments and the receiving end never complained about external noise disturbances despite the fact that there was a lot going on around me. Very convenient and it's just plug-and-play. No installation required so you don't have to bother your IT person.

Sound quality is quite good; not as good as a music focused headset, but quite listenable for Youtube videos or gaming. Very nice for streaming with the long term comfort for wearing. Inline volume control and mute button work with WebEx and other conferencing apps. I've had these since 2016 and they've held up very well. Strong usage throughout Covid workplace safety measures in both verbal only and video meeting formats. These are simple plug and play into all USB port devices. Many colleagues/associates have commented on the quality (clear, smooth,) on the other end. With two earpads, nothing gets missed. No need to spend more if you are looking for something 'to get the job done'.After 2.5+ years of 8-12hr days, the donut pads are showing wear and time to look for replacement earpads/donut style. The rest of the headset remains bullet proof/solid.
For the price your paying, the product itself is sufficient. The build is made of a hard enough plastic and the earphones rests comfortably on my ears, the microphone is clear and people on the other end had no issues with it. Also, it is important to remember that these are "On-ear Headphones." and not "Over-ear Headphones." So, using it for a couple of hours. I did feel some discomfort. Nowadays you can buy gaming headphones with better mics and surround-sound audio for under $100. So, poly needs to step-up and match the level of competition out the. However, the product itself is dependable, But could be a little bit more economical.
The headset is very lightweight and surprisingly comfortable. The audio quality is great. The ear cushions feel a little cheap and I can’t recommend this headset for a noisy environment but in a quiet home office it’s perfect for soft phone and conferencing applications. The on cable buttons are great. Easy muting with audible alert, volume adjustment and call end.

During conference calls the situation is worse because conferencing software amplifies and equalizes microphone levels. It is very hard to tell from the technical specifications if there is any electronic noise cancellation for the microphone.After a month of use the speakers in the headset S/N 1HLAKA started to turn off by itself while the microphone still works. After 10-30 seconds pause the speakers start producing sound again. This is not a cable problem. I had to switch to other model. Maybe this is electronic design flaw or maybe I just got very unlucky with this specific piece. But that is why my rating is 4 and not 5.

I been taking phone calls with my phone (using an adapter usb to usb-c) and the calls are extremely clear on my end but the ear phone part could be a bit louder, also video calls work great on mobile phone.
