I bought this tarp because I wanted something durable but I have been let down by polytuf yet again.I have tried all of polytuf tarps now and none of them are any better than a plastic bag! They fall apart in the sun after a few weeks they fall apart in the wind the ultra heavy duty tarps are thin and can't even handle rope over them without rubbing through.I set up a polytuf and a durarig tarp side by side and the poly tuf turned to powder after 6 weeks and the durarig is still going 15 months later.

I bought my Xxtreme tarps over three years ago and will never go back to the other 'heavy duty' tarps as I have not any sort of issue with them. With all three, including my 9 metre tarp, have only torn one eyelet and that has been recently during severe weather. I have no idea why the other two users giving their review have such serious issue with these tarps but I am quite happy to put my name to my review. Thanks, Stephen of Kingaroy

I have covered my boat for 3 years now in extreme weather. Large boat so always outside in NSW (Nowra), VIC (Mornigton Peninsula) and now in Far North QLD. I am just now required to replace it. So I am getting one exactly the same today. Extremely happy with the product. Pity the Occy straps I use to hold it in place do not last as long. Basically $100 per year is great value to protect a very large expensive boat

Good Tarp
10 August 2023

I bought this tarp to cover a boat after several inferior brands. This tarp was elastic enough to withstand some heavy weather without tears leading to larger tears. Took 3 years to deteriate to a new tarp. (Not bad in tropical conditions with high heat and constant UV with high rainfall).Eyelets did need some assistance but much better than other brands..... Overall best money for value tarp for my purpose that I have found. I only wrote this review because it had a smaller rating than I expected. Just about to purchase another.

Great everything
17 April 2023

I bought this tarp nearly three years ago to cover a caravan on a country site. It has been out in the open through all types of weather including violent storms and has held up well. As I have been using all manner of tarps for the past 13 years, I know what works and what doesn't. I rigged this tarp using shock cord at all points and in the last three years I have not torn (stretched, yes) a single connection point. I will never use another type of tarp other than this product ever again for my important needs.

Great tarps
24 January 2023

Great tarp for price and quality, purchased the largest polytuf for the boat over a year a go, no issues excellent. Purchased another 4 smaller polytuf tarps to cover our kayaks. Not an issue

Heay duty, storm proof
21 December 2022

This tarps has been tied over a frame on my boat for over a year in Nth Qld. Its tied securely and has survived some huge storms big enough to set off alarm in boat. Its heavy duty could do with eyelets every 500 instead if 900 just for convenience. It comes off easy folds up not stiff and goes back on no hassle. I've had no problems with eyelets just lack of on a tarp this size.

Polytuf Xtreme tarp review
8 May 2020

I bought the two largest Xtreme Polytuf tarps to cover some building hardware that I was not able to use straightaway and put them to use at the end of September 2019, this is a more than 6 months review. They have been out in the rain and summer sun with no material degradation at all - apart from some dust the material looks and feels the same as when bought. At this stage I can highly recommend this material being suitable at least for medium to heavy duty work.Polytuf themselves give good support and are willing to help with any technical questions.

Super strong and durable
28 February 2023

I bought this a year ago to cover the annex on my caravanIt’s a very strong tarp, it’s solid and no signs of perishing. All the eyelets are still holding strong even with the high winds it’s been through.

The grade below is 10 times better
5 February 2022

Eyelets - 7 times stronger than steel! I’d like to see the evidence to back that up. They are terrible. Ripped torn and busted before the weather even hit. Heavy duty tarp with d rings is considered a lower grade but it’s heaps heaps better
